I’m a body man. To get that A pillar out(without a aluminum welder), take the panel off(like you did, drill a quarter inch hole, and use a pick, or a nail(grinded down) to hammer it out while applying indirect heat to the outside. Then use aluminum braising rod and a hand torch to fill the hole.

Hi guys, A little advice from Germany as an Audi driver 😂 You can‘t put 21“ in the Front and 22“ in the back by quattro. By time the transmission can break if the front and rear wheels rotate differently. (That's what Audi dealers say in Germany). It has something to do with the different rotations of the wheels. My english is not the best but i hope you understand me. Greetings from Germany, I love your content!!

Looks like Pops is a fulltime goon now. Since they built him the perfect long haul rig. I think they only ever mentioned him doing one job with it. Be nice if he's working with him permanently now. I remember starting with my dad on some of his jobs from about 9yo.After finishing school I was addicted to hands on hard work and an honest days pay. Best outcome was I got to spend years having a dad who was also my best friend. If mum ever found out about half the antics we used to get up to on job sites (once I was an adult of course) she'd probably keel over. lol. Nothing better than a dad who's also a true mate. =D

Hey guys try drilling the back of the A post with a small hole saw and knock it out from the back of it ? It gets covered with a panel section anyway

They literally buy every part new. Practically no fabrication involved. If you want real built not bought stuff check Deboss Garage, Austin Coulson or even B is for build. Don't get me wrong they repair a lot of things but not the example for built not bought.

@@Matevz96 but they do it themselves rather than pay someone. Hence b not b.

With the A pillar, maybe Hot water poured over it would help to repair the dent? would make it more malleable. You should use alloy wheel repair on aluminium panels?

The best way to heat a small area of aluminium like that is to use an electric heat gun. Aluminium has a fairly low melting point so a blowlamp cannot be used. Care would need to be taken to cover the windscreen with water-soaked blankets to reduce the chances of the laminated glass cracking. A body shop would likely pull the screen, but with care that is not necessary.
