He’s just an enthusiast rebuilding things and leaning as he goes, getting help from more knowledgeable people where necessary. You’re right about the money though. Having money, a large space to work in, and access to some experts and sponsors definitely would make things easier.

@@geekyzebra91 I learned that lesson a while ago lol I’m 30 and after all these years the cycle continues. I’ll go to my dads to help with an alternator issue and then come back home to do a fender chop on my Jeep (simple jobs right?) and scream at my Jeep lol. My fault though for being cheap and not buying the right tools and breaking every pop tab. It’s the natural order of things.

Love the speed of this one..keeps us engaged. Colour scheme. Pearl White with a slight silver metallic flake. No stripes. Red (matching calipers) for some body lines, details, and badges. Silver rims. Interior, Rich Red, black stitching.

Stick with the original black base color! So much easier to blend everything in and get it done. Just finish it in black and give it a cool wrap. Do not spend another $30K on paint. Crazy. It will be way cool for much less. Save some money for other builds.

@tavarish, the best spec for a 430 scud is full black with the lighter color black double stripe over them, full carbon engine bay, rearview mirrors with the 3 stripes of the italian flag (green -white-red) , and novitec wheels & exhaust... just a a scud should be ! Wish you guys the best and a lot of fun with this build ! Cant wait to see it finished ! 🥳🥳🥳

First off, I'm going to answer the first question from this series and say, it's a Scud, it has got to be a street legal race car! Secondly, as far as a livery, I've always loved the Gulf theme with blue (I know, you just went with blue on the LT) and orange racing stripes. I personally feel there is no better color combination and as soon as I have a car it would look good on (my e46 m3 doesn't really have the lines for it) I'm going all in.

Jared's been working really hard...on not buying a third Charger and getting out of the back seat of the ones he already owns 🤣 On a separate note, you may be able to easily bend that aluminum back to close to straight before hitting it by pinching it between two straight scrap pieces of boxed steel and clamping it down with a good bit of force to make it take the same shape as the steel.

I have a high mileage scud and it’s the most insane driving experience I’ve ever had. Makes my current and former gt3’s/Lambo/turbos etc feel like a Lexus in comparison. SUPER fun car that really has no equivalent when it comes to production car offerings. Truly feels like a race car. Literally.

Too many Ferrari's are red, black, or silver. I'd go with yellow. From the look of it so far, this is going to take a lot less time to fix than the McLaren. Because it's aluminum it's going to present different problems than the carbon did on the McLaren. I hope this is easier to fix. Thanks.

They are usually worth more in red, I once met a guy who painted mostly yellow ferraris red. He had driven lots of ferraris but never a red one as he didn't drive them after he had painted them.

To be fair these projects do take time and a lot of it from part sourcing to other things and I don’t think he wants to do a little bit of one car each day and in the end not really end up doing anything , better to focus on a target and take it down the issue is he keeps getting so many new cars and just abandons other cars lol

I'm so excited you're doing a 430 scuderia, personally my favorite Ferrari I would love to see atleast a play on the Enzo red with the scuderia black stripes, perhaps the Italian flag introduced into some striping. Also just want to say as a huge McLaren fan as a New Zealander of course the true home of McLaren it was just an awesome achievement you guys accomplished I'm sure Bruce would have been proud to see it.
