this kind of job is where Chris's skill and experience really shines through, a lot of people would have pulled the deep dents out then just slapped on a load of filler rather than taking the time or through lack of experience, top job chris 👍

Remembering the location of the rat damage under the dash and thinking about mine there’s a boot activation switch in the drivers door I assume the loom goes through the door pillar into the area where the rat was chewing could there be more damage in that area on the loom to the front door switch? Great content as always guys thanks. Pete.

Hello boys, loving the channel and regularly chat with my work mate about all the project's you take on and complete to such a high standard, as I have commented many times to my colleagues you would never know the cars you repair have been damaged then repaired,they all agreed , the only thing we can't agree on is do insurance company's charge a higher premium to insure a repaired vehicle even when they are repaired to your standards, we would all appreciate your comments on this,cheers boys keep up the good work .👌

Hey Rob and Chris some BMW's have a Valet Lock in the glovebox. This can very easily be knocked accidentally to the off position, which will prevent the fob, key and manual release from working. Its normally a sliding switch which should be set to the unlock position for the release/closure, key fob etc to work.👍hopefully it's that......an easy fix .

It is entirely possible to register a new vehicle with a transferred NI Plate, so it will be its only recorded registration number, without it being sold or registered in NI. The number could be transferred directly, or be on retention.

You can stick a private plate on a brand new car that hasnt been registered. You register the car on the private plate. So it is possible to get a car from the uk registered on a northern irish plate with no plate change on the dabase. I dont actually know the history of the car nor do i care tbh. Im sure chris will do a cracking job and someone will be buying a good car for an amazing price. Loving the videos, what we on the 4th year now? Sruk 🙇
@acorndogs904Күн бұрын
An english car will have to be registered in England first then the Northern Ireland plate can be applied. Our cars in NI are registered to the county ie antrim or down take the private or NI plate off the english car and the cat can revert back to its original reg.

Regarding the car with the pesky automatic rear latch problem: I assume you checked the fuse and wiring integrity; that leaves 1) the latch you bought is bad; 2) the switch is bad; or 3) both are bad. Good luck with it!
