Just the way I was thinking HPI clear, block is clean so far pistons look good, if all clear on the bottom end this will make for a serious flip. These retail for around £75k so there’s £££££’s of margin in it 💪🏽 Absolutely right though biggest wins come from taking big risks 🙌🏽

I'm Not hating but i think his head engine builder has most of the knowledge. In past episodes you can see Namz asking him what component's are and how they work. I think Namz is more of a tuner and had the capital to hire the right guys to open up a full on garage.

Not just the head gaskets that need binning all new head bolts as well btw these engines don’t seize then suddenly un seize, unless it’s a jammed vanos, and the daza engines only similarity to half this is it’s 5 cylinders nothing else

Of course the cylinder block wouldn’t be the same lol, the cylinder heads have very close similarities is what I was saying here. Yep brand new headbolts, gaskets, seals and not to forget a brand new oil pump costing £4000 🫣

We did think that initially as the driveshafts were removed when we got the car however this wasn’t the case…so far anyway

Yo same stuff happened with me. I bought a bmw 335i n54 engine to replace in my 2008 bmw 318i e90 so I rebuilt the engine replaced gaskets, rings etc upgraded a couple stuff 19 t turbos turbo inlets upgraded spark plugs and ignition coils and index 12 etc I have put the engine in and everything is all hooked up except the wiring for the car body and engine bay and oh did I mention I was converting it to an automatic as well just for quicker gear shifting
