Original black is great, but the idea that you mixed the original with something that YOU like, makes that purple super special. It’s YOUR daily driver and with that purple it will truly cement that. The whole idea to honor the car and to honor your self at the same time is amazing!

That second purple will look absolutely stunning as it will change the visual lines depending on the weather, wet sunny or overcast and would probably look a totally different shade with morning dew/frost on it.

I say purple, the black is gorgeous but as you said isn't as desirable. But the fact the dark purple has the original nero black, makes it a nice touch. Plus, if you use it daily for 15 years, go for a change. Also, that purple looks awesome, especially with the curves the Ferrari has, you'll get a great effect on it

I personally agree with the black, but the car isn't OEM, and therefore is not a restoration.... it's more a refresh. He took a standard 360 and built it into Challange spec car, so no biggie if he were to paint it purple, pink, or any other colour if he so chooses.

I'll admit to preferring the more traditional colours. The purple is a little bit "fairground" for me. BUT it's not my car LOL! so whatever you choose will be great :) Nice to see some love being given to the 360 though. Great "re" build.

This. Please this. I love wild colours but wild colours get old quick. Wrap it that purple but paint it the correct vin colour as you're going to all that effort to restore it. If you were cutting it up and wide bodying it then that's another thing entirely.

I personally like the original black on that car. I painted my fox body mustang in that almost exact purple back in 1993. My painter thought I was crazy when I asked him to spray it in that color. But when it was done, he also agreed it was stunning. Good luck on the rest of the build.
