If the readings are off most of the time it's the multimeter which isn't well calibrated. I had the same issue with "electric guitar pickups" and reading out of specs values all the time, until I trashed the multimeter and finally bought a professional one ... not even that darn expensive at all, and a lot more range in most options ... great for everything from house to electronics etc, and car repair.

One question bud, I did mine as per your video, but I did notice the original filter is a good bit longer than the replacement filter, so much so that when the original filter is tapped into place the plastic bottom of it rests on 4 tiny feet on top of the bed were it seats into. The new filter once tapped into place does not rest on the bottom of its seated position and leaves a gap. I'm asking as I'm wondering will the 100psi in the fuel rail not pop of the bottom of the new filters now as there a little shorter and have that gap at the bottom where as the new ones were supported as they sat flat on the bottom?

I've been told never to sink the injectors in a water solution if you are gonnas ultrasonically clean them, I was told to use a mix of gasoline and thinner, ideally I'd have power to them to keep them open and a hose connected sucking the cleaning fluid backwards through them as the ultrasonic cleaner did it's work.

To remove the internal filter/screens I used a shorter screw. I tried a couple lengths to determine the length needed so the underside of the screw head contacts the top metal sleeve or cylinder of the injector then it acts like a hub puller and pulls the screw out by simply turning a screw driver. In my case, the screw only went maybe 1/8" into the screen until the back of the screw head contacted the top of the metal cylinder and then pulled the screen out without a vise or much effort. Try it.

I'm not sure I understand. Technically, you could... It won't hurt them. I just did another set of eight last week... I took the screens out and then cleaned them 3 or 4 times. Then reassembled them. Works great every time!

Hey I just had a thought... maybe they can be pressed out by putting a metal cylinder around the screw (the same diameter as the filter) so as you screw in the screw it presses out... hmmmm...

2 Comments, 1) Hot readings will be a bit higher as resistance goes up with Heat. 2) I would consider a better quality DMM. I use one of these to lend to a pesky salesman in my dealership. For $3 keeps him from abusing my Real Meter. The Low OHM reading are inconsistent with that meter but for 3 bucks I suppose one could argue its a Great Value.

Ha ha.. If you use your wife's ultrasonic cleaner.. You can actually place your part in a container filled with whatever cleaner you want to use.. Then place your container of parts in the ultrasonic cleaner and fill the machine with water. The waves will pass through the container holding your greasy parts and clean them, without contaminating the water.
