I remember seeing the tornado alert and the storm being so bad it shook the house. I was afraid but I was thinking I lived too deep in Kentucky because tornadoes usually go straight back up when they touch down here, but then one touched down around a mile away from my house and traveled for a mile. Luckily it didn’t travel towards my house but learning about it the next day was an eye opener.

A group of us took equipment down and cleaned up for a week in Mayfield and Cayce, KY. The damage and destruction was beyond belief. Jaw dropping. I have so many friends that were affected by this tornado last year and I can say all the people of Kentucky are thankful for the people who came to help. These communities were devastated but the entire state felt the sadness. Driving through the rubble after was so sad but thanks to kind people we can get those who lost everything back on their feet

Those homes for the most part were not “new development” they were homes that had been around long before tornado ally shifted from Kansa to Kentucky

One of the ladies in this video attends my church, me and my dad showed up the morning following the tornado to help save some of the gifts they had in the house. You could tell the family was just totally distraught. Mr beast you made my day by seeing the happiness on her face in this video!

So, I live in a different town in Kentucky, and was watching the radar as it happened, and come to find out the trajectory of that tornado, if it had been on the ground for another 10 minutes it would've hit us. Seeing the aftermath of that monster, was the stuff of nightmares, and it really puts that fear in you that you never know what can happen. *I know of a group of people that repaired over 3,500 homes in 3 years after Hurricane Katrina hit and destroyed homes across 3 or 4 sates. Thousands of their members came from all around the world to pitch in and help rebuild these homes. They use their own money or had businesses that had all the supplies they would need for this Herculean task. This group never toot their horn, so neither will I toot it for them. But it's nice to know I belong to such a group that looks after each and every single one of their own brothers and sisters, just as the bible said they should.*
