If you end up doing a lot of woodworking, consider a vortex dust separator you can add on in front of your shop vac. It allows the big chunks to collect in a bigger container that is easier to empty and saves a lot of wear and tear on the shop vac. I have the dust right one that is pretty legit.

Seth, you should consider a cyclone and dust bin to put between your tool and shop vac for dust collection. I built a portable one and it makes so you basically never have to clean your shop vac again, all the heavy saw dust falls in the bin under the cyclone. Check out the Oneida Dust Deputy and google portable dust collection builds. It's a fun build you can integrate with Ian shop vac with. You're shop vac with maintain it's 100% vacuum power and you'll have to change your filter after a few years, maybe.

I’m guessing in about a month or 3 he’ll install house air so he can have compressed air on either end, and house vac set up so he won’t need to swap out vacuums at any area.
