Strap that hand truck to the log lengthwise and roll it over so wheels are down. You don't have to hold the handle of the truck that way. Just make sure your tires are solid or aired up.

I can barely clear 3 inches on a cross country bike which weighs half as much as his full suspension bike. Sure, I'm a "little bit" bigger than Seth (6'2") but this is mad hard. That's at least a foot, which is insane. I had to watch it like 10 times over in slow motion just to make sure lol

This is awesome, love the rugged creativity that Berm Peak has unleashed in you! To make the most out of that little winch without adding a snatchblock: Set your tree anchors higher to pull up on the log and decrease ground friction, choke the log at the very end for maximum pull, try a plastic sled or scoop shovel under the front end of the log to increase slipperyness.

Reminds of back in the day when my brother and I would build skate/bmx launch ramps and manual pads and kickers. Pallets for days in the yard and a garage full of stuff. It's awesome that you were able to find a "CHEAP" hunk of wood to make a gnarly ramp out of. Good on ya for repurposing that old tree too.

As a young skate punk I built this massive fun box. I fitted four unused skate trucks to one side. We would tip it up and roll that monster around the neighborhood. Watching you move the ramp with the dolly reminds me of this. Maybe fit some fold out wheels and keep that ramp portable!!

I've been binging these videos for the past hour and a half. They're great. One suggestion - look into using pulleys and block + tackle; these tools will simplify a LOT of the work you're doing dragging stuff around.

I've been harvesting downed trees from local trails (with park permission) for a couple of years. Gotta love clearing blowdown and converting it to usable lumber. Most of the parks in my area don't allow powered vehicles. I've been using a kayak dolly with some success. Still a workout, but it works. Now I have more wood and ideas than I have time.
