cuttybones i use a really strong redmax backpack blower and can blow the remaining dirt off the grass, that golf club should have some huge riding ones, things are crazy, they have like 30 horsepower motors now, blow everything away, just a suggestion.

Irrigation lines are and usually one foot deep. We use heavy mowers and tractors all the time to cut the turf and maintenance practices like aerating, verticutting, vertidrain which is 10 inch deep solid tine aeration to help with deeper roots oxygen levels and so on and lastly top dressing which we do once a year but some courses never do it.
