President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, has announced 50 million Yuan (about US$7 million) in Economic and Technical Assistance and another 20 million Yuan (about US$2.7 million) debt cancelation for Sierra Leone during his bilateral meeting with President Bio in Beijing according to a statement from the State House Press Secretary, Keketoma Sandi The Chinese government will also provide 1,500 tonnes of food aid to #SierraLeone. The two Heads of State witnessed the signing of bilateral cooperation documents between Tim Kabba and his Chinese counterpart on the Belt and Road Initiative, agriculture, and economic development programs.
