I think Reginald is on a mission to create the perfect group to accomplish a specific task, possibly saving his loved one that was shown in the very first opening scene. Travelling through dimensions, and finding the right combination of abilities that the children have. Problem being he can't know for sure what powers they will have until he raises them.

Great recap! Especially for a show this convoluted, this was really needed. With the long covid break that affected so many shows, it has been very hard for me to remember what happened in the shows I liked. I know some people like re-watching previous seasons to get caught up, but watching 20 hours of TV just to know what is happening, then doing it for multiple shows, it impossible for me.
