Everyone wants to talk about the controversial officiating at the end of the Chiefs/Raiders game, but for whatever reason no one is asking the question that's bothering me...why did the Raiders spike the ball so soon? The only reason to spike it at 15 seconds is to try to get closer but when you're already under a 50 yard FG and struggling to find wins why risk another play? Guess what, we saw exactly what can happen. If they spike the ball at 3 seconds and gamble the 49 yarder instead of trying to get another play off maybe they are winners instead of losers.
