I found your channel when I was pretty deep in a depressive episode. I struggled with depression from the time I was six years old until I was 29. I'm 32 now - this is the longest stretch I've ever gone in my life without depressive symptoms. Your content helped me to connect with BEAUTY again. The way you tell the story of your life has inspired me to embrace simplicity and find contentment in the everyday things, especially as I continue to heal from years of consistent depression. I'm watching this video now on a solo trip to DC, sitting outside a gorgeous Cafe devouring the best French toast I've ever eaten. Your evolution is evident, and it's also gorgeous to see. I know folks struggle with change, but it makes me happy that you're making these great strides in business and life. Of course there will be change. Thank you for what you create, and take care of yourself. That's what's most important. ❤

For me, the style of this channel has always been on point. From the talkative Daniel to very aesthetically pleasant and experimental editing, it have always had the core of what this community is all about. What makes this one, particularly, one of the most important diaries, is your comment about how the content you create is a highlight of the good moments in life, not all of it. Because this may seem obvious, but in the internet, where people compare themselves all the time, it's so easy to feel let down by being exposed to perfectly framed shots of incredible places and unique moments while the viewer's experience may be as amusing. I have already felt that I should skip a weeks' episode because I wasn't in a state of mind where I would relate or enjoy seeing it since my life was a mess haha. But most of the time, I find in your videos the inspiration to keep working hard and fighting for the things I value most in life. So thank you for bringing not only the beauty of life, but also the sincerity that makes it all human and special.

Reflecting on the last part of the video: You should always keep in mind that even though we do expect you to post fashion content and love the London Diaries series, when you are full of life just like in this video, when you are truly yourself, that is the most enjoyable. Always do what you feel is the best and not what you 'should' do. I think content creators can easily fall into a rut, so keep the creative part of your personality alive
@luiswolf16292 ай бұрын
Loved the alternative ending to the video, because today many people don‘t realize that these videos just show positive insights into the life of a person. This doesn‘t mean it‘s a bad thing, but people tend to think their lives are much worse, because they compare their whole life to little positive bits of others lives. So thanks for another amazing video Dan❤

For your boots, you could get a boot jack instead of getting a zipper added, it's pretty common for folks that wear a lot of cowboy boots to have one in the house, helps with getting them unstuck!

That last part resonated with myself on a personal level. That desire and commitment to keep going is a huge personal trait. The timing to see this video completely clicks with myself. Spent the last 3 years working on a personal clothing line and had nothing but highs and extreme lows. Combined with life’s obstacles it takes such a strong mindset to persevere and get through. As a brand owner close to giving up on the dream right now and pursuing a new goal, seeing this makes me realise no matter what level or stage you’re at, it’s never as simple so I thank you for sharing this. Being as real as this takes a lot. Keep pushing, grinding. But taking the time to reflect is always needed. Thank you for sharing.

It’s interesting how you brought up the “always going to be eating a pastry and buying flowers in my videos” because that’s exactly what popped in my head. After the birthday video this one was definitely more classic London Diaries. And I think it’s great to be able to film both kinds of videos and not always do what’s expected. We need variety as humans sometimes and I’m sure it feels more motivating to switch it up when it feels right. Keep following your instinct and being true to yourself like you have and genuine content is bound to follow. :)

Been watching these your videos for I don't even know how long anymore but needless to say, you never fail to deliver. The level of transparency that you show when you take the time to talk to your audience is greatly appreciated because it's often easy to forget that everyone, regardless of how they portray themselves online, has their share of struggles. Your channel pushed me to better understand my own style and to also take my fitness up a notch without compromising on the good that life has to offer from time to time. Thanks for keeping consistent for all these years even with all the stuff being added to your plate! Also side note, first time purchase from your brand with the Merino Knit Sweater. From delivery box to the packaging to the tags... Absolutely no reason to be this damn good right off the bat! It is easily one of the best pickups in quite sometime and your brand holds it's own among the best. Hope you keep doing your thing!

I hope this comment gets to you, use it as a kind of a counterbalance to the one you just read to all of us: I found your channel maybe like 2 years ago and your content keeps being my favorite to date despite consuming a lot of KZbin myself, not saying that the person that commente was wrong at all, as you said, it all comes to preferences, but I even find myself repeating some of your video sections because of how much peace/calmness and inspiration they bring to me, plus, as a Communicologist I get to appreciate every scene, every cut, every little editing detail and you keep surprising me with the content quality within every one of your vlogs, (I don't know how much views did the last of your videos had, but it was a personal favorite, the birthday one I mean). Much love from across the pond (México), keep up the hard work, your channel is at where it is because of how long and hard you've worked for it.

I would definitely check it out yourself, but I found that when I have a pair of pull on boots that were comfortable, that I had a zipper installed, the fit was no longer any good. This was part of the reason I learned a little trick that I used to break the suction on a boot. While I was wearing them, I would take a 12-in ruler and slide it down the inside between my leg and the boot of course being careful and cautious not to scratch myself nor the boot. I found that it sufficiently broke the suction.

I don’t comment a lot here, but I wanted to share my 2 cents. First of all, thank you so much for your amazing videos! They are always so calming and chill - like a coffee break. ☕️ I definitely get where the comment you shared in this video is coming from. When I go back and look at the first couple vlogs, they do feel a bit different compared to now. But that’s absolutely normal, because as a videographer you accomplish new skills and since the content is about your life that obviously progresses as well. The way I watch videos (vlogs) is that it is always a type of entertainment and not reflecting that person’s whole reality. It is made to look like a romanticised version of that person’s life. I know sometimes people fall into the believe to know you, but there are so many more aspects before you really know someone and you show us a certain part/a glimpse of your life that you’ve chosen to share, because (I assume) that might be how you would like your life to look like or that‘s the aesthetic you seeking in your life. But in your daily life you also share moments with the people around you that you wouldn’t have shared if you had the choice to decide - moments that are not aesthetic, maybe painful, heartbreaking, emotional or embarrassing etc. I hope this made sense somehow. 😅 Have a great day 🫶🏻

To help with the tight boots, try applying some talcum powder to your socks or the inside of the boots before wearing them. The difficulty comes from a combination of foot swelling (from walking), sweat/moisture, and air pressure, which together can create a vacuum-like seal. Great VLOG as always! 🧡🙏🏻
