Didn't really strike me as the kind of series you tear through, but I'd certainly dip into it again if my daughter grabs one off the shelves! 🤣 And yes, this is a complete velcro cat!!

Sometimes my daughter picks books based on the cover artwork, which is the most fun. A lot of the time it seems totally random, haha!

The Boss Witch book sounds fun! I tried her book Grimspace years ago but DNF'd it, I might try again as I have it on kindle. Your cat's so affectionate 💛

It was definitely a fun, light-hearted read! It was perfect for late nights when I wasn't quite ready to go to bed but was pretty burnt out and just wanted a light read I could dip into for a chapter or two.

@@bethannebruninga-socolar I had that in December with The Innkeeper Chronicles from Ilona Andrews. Just fun books I didn't need to think about too hard :)

@bethannebruninga-socolar their "the edge" and "Kate daniels" are more skewed to violence, while the innkeeper Chronicles series has a nice balance of action and humour and a touch of romance. The other two series are still entertaining, but I think the blood and torture can be gratuitous to keep people hooked - definitely not cosy 😅
