I just started getting into reading this year (other than manga and web-comics) and so obviously I started with ACOTAR which I binged the shit out of; ate it up. However, I was super disappointed in Silver Flames... I DNF"d it but I want to finish because of my boy Cassian but I just cant get past 100 pages. Then my next series was Haunting Adeline which I was ate up as well, I didnt think I would enjoy such a dark romance but I really did. I'm currently reading Iron Flame which has been.... alright so far. Its definitely slow compared to Fourth Wing, and Im hoping I enjoy it the more I get into it; I've seen a lot of bad reviews so Im scared to hate it as well ;_;

Immortal Longings was such a disappointment I was expecting so much.. But damn. I couldnt even differentiate our two main male characters.. Their names where too close. I wanted to be so good but it was soooo bad. When people rave about it I question if we read the same book and question their sanity. I am happy that you have the same sentiment about it than me 😅

My disappointing books were A Cat Cafe Christmas, I love the cat cafe aspect but the plot focused way more on the ex boyfriend drama. And Christmas was barely in it!! That is not what the title or cover imply about it. I was also disappointed by the second half of Iron Flame, it was so frustrating!
