So I've tried now times 3 hour around. And despite 30 years of computer experience I did not get it to run. Touch OSX is installed. TouchOSX Bridge as well. Studio One recognizes the TouchOSX Bridge but the TouchOSX application - one example sends data but it doesn't arrive.

Bummer it's not working. PC or Mac and also WiFi or Cable.

Hello, can I use a label as a button? :(

You can add some messages to it, but it's really not made for that. It's made to be a text object. I recommend using the button object for buttons, then put a label over it.

There is a YT clip titled 16 knobs and a screen using touch osc as a parameter display on a iphone. Would be amazing if you could do a tutorial on this. The maker of the clip does not have the time to share it. Hopefully you can. Such a great use case. Thank you!

Nice. Ya I've seen that video. It's a cool use for it. Unfortunately, I don't have that MIDI controller, so I am not able to run a set up for it.

I looked at this video. The trick is in the comments. Same midi is send in parallel to TouchOSC and DAW. Copy : hej hej, the midi fighter and touchOSC are not communicating directly but since both are setup as MIDI devices in Ableton Live using exactly the same MIDI CCs they will simultaneously get their MIDI feedback from Live, hope that helps

It works wonderfully - now. The problem is or was that you don't need the bridge. If you are on the same computer. So in StudioOne also should not select. But the TouchOSC project itself. Then it runs. - But I have already come away from TouchOSC. Too simple (no layout options, no icons, cumbersome to use.). The end window cannot be smaller than 460px high. All created objects are on index with their ID what, as soon as one deletes an object the complete link with StudioOne destroys. - Unfortunately irretrievable. Another problem - now not from TouchOSC alone is that when the application is running on the same machine. The focus naturally jumps back and forth. Between TouchOSC and StudioOne. Also the mouse cursor jumps from one monitor to another. Because that is where the focus is with Touch. This is annoying! I have Metagrid Pro on a 12.9" iPad in use, which is already much better in the design options and ease of use. Unfortunately it runs only on IOS and not on Windows. Only the Metaserver runs on Mac and PC. But thanks for your answers. And good luck with the channel.

Ya I know people are trying to make the touch screen work, but I too would find it annoying having the mouse jump around to "focus". Not sure what exactly you want to accomplish with the touch screen, but I know a lot of people also use Lemur instead of TouchOSC. You could always try that?

I also dont like to have messages that are not used - i have the default creation of both midi and osc messages disabled in the settings

I would like to run TouchOSC on a Windows PC on a 19" touch monitor to control some functions of StudioOne - not on an external tablet or phone but on the same PC running StudioOne. Is this possible with Touch OSC?

I can say that I don't have a touch screen, so I don't work like this. But ya, I know there are some people on the forums using a touchscreen. Some people have made it work. I know the issue some folks run into is that when you touch the screen it moves "attention" off of Studio One or whatever software you're using. @PYOLO have you found a way around this?
