Sometimes, I feel these guys just enjoy seeing people suffer. We've literally been in a recession since last year and if anything, I was just expecting things to get better. Now they just issue doomsday warnings and projections without solutions. How do we prepare, what do the less fortunate ones like us do?
@frankbarnes2227 күн бұрын
I feel for you. It'll all be fine. Some practical steps: Vote wisely(our leaders have a hand in it), Spend only on necessities, Pay attention to your health, Invest and spread your assets (locally and internationally) and while at it, always make correct inquiries so you don't throw your money in the wind or better still, get the services of an expert (that way, you give little room for error). Made my first million earlier this year this way and I think can comfortably wait out this "phase" though the situation in the UK isn't as bad. Good luck!
@phillogan127 күн бұрын
Amazing approach though not quite as easy... You mentioned getting assets and using pros, if its not a problem. do you mind telling which asset type, if you used one or recommending a good one? I could definitely use external help right now... I look forward to you replying...

Coming out of facing alot, I knew two things about the stock market: It caused the Great Depression, and the fastest way to make a million on the markets was to start with two million. And then the Great Recession happened only a few years later. So yeah, I wish someone had better explained it to me earlier in life. Having a good entry and exit strategy will make you succeed in the stock market.

@Jamessmith-12Ай бұрын
Exactly, most of the investors pays more attention to the profit aspect forgetting that the market involves ups and down. securing your financial position requires lots of patience and proper education on the market so as to know the right profitable stock to buy and invest in. I made over $260k in profits, from just the Q4 of 2021. Investing in the stock market is most profitable when you understand how the market actually works.

The most important thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different sources of income that doesn't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the word. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks, Gold, silver and digital currencies

The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.

This recession is most likely the result of an external factor. For the first time in decades, the United States is losing its clout as a federal reserve currency. They don't have any more economies to use to control inflation, and less money is being spent on stock and oil trading than in the past. They all lend support to the idea that a new multilateral world order is in the works.

Let's face it, increasing stock and index fund purchases during downturns and bear markets is unnerving. Which makes it very difficult for most people, like me, to do. It's challenging to incur the risk of investing the $1 million I have in an S&S.

That is correct. For the past 23 months, I've been in daily contact with a financial advisor. The difficult part of investing these days is determining when to sell or hold a company when it is trending. If inflation continues to re-accelerate, don't you think they will be forced to increase interest rates? It's not like they have the option to just stand back and watch it increase and hope it comes back down. They indicated they will act not just if it does not re-accelerate but if it does not demonstrate, it is actively on the way down to 2%, so the likelihood of an interest rate hike seems very significant. There's nothing to naturally bring inflation down at this point unless the labor market implodes.......currently I've been engaged in active trading, which is generally safer, allowing investors to weather market volatility and also managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 24Bitcoin....I'm especially grateful to Sandy Barclays, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

It's sad how difficult things have become in this recessive economy. I was wondering how to utilize some money I had. I used some of it for e-commerce business, but that sank. I'm thinking of how to protect my $80K-worth stock portfolio from decline, but haven't figured which way to go.
@berniceburgos-2 ай бұрын
Very difficult indeed, but when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. You have to learn and handle finances properly. you should hire a CFP to help you diversify your assets to include ETFs/index funds/mutual funds and stocks of companies with consistent cash flows. Don't go for penny stocks.

Can’t listen to this crap. Guy is saying aggregate supply is holding off a recession ignoring per averages. It’s similar to saying such and such country is better because they have GDP $2 trillion vs another at $1.8 trillion when the former has 300 billion vs 30 billion.

I foresee a recession lasting 2-3 years, and if inflation continues to surge, the Federal Reserve will likely raise interest rates soon. Inflation is causing various issues worldwide, such as food shortages, scarcities of diesel and heating fuel, and significant spikes in housing prices, leading to a potential financial market crash. This global downturn could have long-lasting repercussions. Given the current inflation rate of approximately 9%, my main worry is how to optimize my savings and retirement fund, which has remained stagnant at around $300,000, yielding almost no gains for quite some time.

Just be transparent. Honestly, people are hurting. Some are working 2, 3 jobs. Others are not able to afford their mortgage or rent. Answer: 1. Live below your means. 2. Spend money carefully. 3. Cash is necessary. 4. Downsize if you can. 5. Be flexible with your lifestyle. Simple life.

@robmirich32812 ай бұрын
The Moody's chief says "things are shaking" and previously referencing the "Sahm's 'rule' or something like that" and now he says we are not in recession. Then talking some nonsense about illegal immigrant labor (probably cheaper labor and then that actually caps the "labor" component of inflation). And 'vagaries of the data' is rich...gotta love that stuff...makes people think this dude is somehow intelligent. BARF. We are in Great Depression 2.0 now. The data will prove me right in the future. I am only 4:21 minutes in and this guys is offbase. Maybe he really believes what he reads. I am now 50 and have MAYBE 35 years left and the rest of the interview of 31 minutes and change of listening to this guys is a waste of my remaining time on this Earth.
