thanks for the video. You helped me to recharge my 1998 nissan maxima's AC system. It had been down for years, and it took less than 10 minutes to get it working properly.

Thanks , this worked on my 2014 maxima. I tested the levels with my car off first and thankfully it was fully empty. I bought a car with problems and was afraid I would have to take it to a mechanic if there was old Freon stuck in it. Thanks again , I subscribed.

How often u do u do this to your maxima? I got an 2011- this the 1st year the ac has been spotty

I have a 2010 Maxima and for the past 3 years I’ve had to do it once a summer, usually at the start of the summer.

I tried mine nissan maxima. Right away it was in the red. after turning the car on I went to check it and it was in the red so I turned off the engine and removed it. Same thing happened to my Juke. Both same thing happened. What am I doing wrong? The maxima doesn’t have cool air at all. The Juke only cools when car is moving, but when I sit at a light, parking lot, or drive thru it starts to blow warm. Please help.

@thegunner467 Sorry to say once your freon is in the red you will need a machine to suck out all of the old freon before you can put new in there. Did you end up taking it to the mechanic or figuring it out? My car is currently doing the same, hoping for some tips or insight.

@@Neva-Ava sorry couldn’t figure it out. I still haven’t taken to mechanic because I have another car I use but I do plan on taking it in July when I get my bonus. I know it will probably be something expensive unfortunately.

@thegunner467 Now you have to get a vacuum pump to get the old freon out and put new freon in. You use to could get a small object and let the freon out yourself. But I believe that's illegal in some states. I don't know what state you're in but you have the information to do with as will. Thank you for your comment and support I wish you well.
