Nice review. I have one myself (XC40 MY 2024 Extended Range). We all know, that no EV are able to reach the WLTP in reality. And this car is no exemption. I wa very well aware of this, when I bought my car. But the lack of range according to the WLTP, is very balnced by the comfort of the car and happiness driving it.

I disagree that no car can reach the wltp range. In winter, no they cant but in spring/summer there are plenty that can.

Thanks. Do they, as i see in this vid, now have diff colour options for interior? (I really hate dreary black/grey interiors🙈)

Yeah, check the Volvo configurator, with the Ultra spec only, you now get 5 no cost options of interior. This one is the Dawn Fusion, there is also a light grey wool blend and the other 3 are all dark (one available with blue carpets). Like you I much prefer the lighter interiors.

Great car but infortainment is trash. Hoping the AAOS updates talked about comes sooner to allow for Android auto and better 3rd party app support.

I own one and software issues are still very much present. Emergency breaking on an empty road, no sound issues (dates back to 2021 just search the internet) and the speed indicator is close to always being wrong. Like literally tellig me 50 is the speed limit on a highway. Just talk to anyone owning a modern Volvo

Nice review. Agree with most of it expect the interior part. It is not timeless in my opinion and feels very aged. The center screen for example is far from modern looking. Same goes for the air vents. My employer gave me a budget to lease in this class. I looked at an XC40 recharge as it was then called, test drove it, … But the dated interior is what made me go with an iX1. Also not a perfect car but feels so much nicer on the inside.
