Hi Barbara-Sue! I just wanted to give you a quick up-date on your video & help. Since asking you a little more about this software 3 weeks ago, I purchased Recipe Keeper for my phone & computer. We also got a tablet which was no extra cost for the App. We have been using this App to try & maintain a sugar detox, we've started, This is working wonderful. We started this way of eating to get healthier, but we have also both lost a few pounds. I love the "Yuck don't make this again" in courses. So far we've only came across 1 thing we threw out the entire dish. But this way it's right up front, don't try it again. Thanks for all you do, I haven't had a lot of time recently; but I am getting use to this, and have 57 recipes in my list already. Oh, and about the question I asked before; my husband does not want to put it on his phone. So we (both in our late 60's) still make a written list for when we go to the store. After watching your video, I bought the Recipe Keeper app and I’ll love it! I’m having fun inputting my recipes. I like seeing the photo so I go on Google and download photo and often I find my recipe or some variation and can just download the recipe. I think it will probably take me a year or more to transfer all the recipes I have collected online but I do a few each day. Thank you for such a great comprehensive review.

Hi there! I just came across your video, and I do believe this is what I'm looking for; you explain it very well. I was wondering if I buy the phone version along with my computer version, do you know if my husband would have to purchase a version for his phone to look at our grocery list also. Usually when we grocery shop, I go get some things, and he goes and gets the other things. If this would work, like I'm thinking; as I click off the list, it would click it off his list also. Anyway, we're older and always have a list when we go grocery shopping. Thank you for any help.

When you log in they should populate? I’m assuming you have an iPhone. You can’t cross platforms.

Open the recipe you want to delete. Select the three dots in the bottom right hand corner. A new menu opens where delete is an option.

It is worth noting that this app is compatible with the Alexa powered Echo Shows. This provides an ideal way to use the app while cooking. The only thing that does not work on the echo show is the adjustment feature so you need to adjust the recipe (if needed) prior to booting up on the echo show.

Also, when you add your own recipe by typing it into the app it automatically sets the serving portions at 1. This renders the adjust feature useless. If anyone has figured out how to set the serving portions when entering a recipe please share.

@@rfern263I rarely add recipes manually, but I checked and on the overview tab you can enter a number of servings there. Try editing one you entered to the correct number of servings. You do have to know, it doesn’t calculate that info.

Has anyone thought of a way that you can add personal notes to your recipes such as you want to cut the salt, or add more liquid, or some such thing? I bought the app, and I have so many recipes that I have made notes on over the years that I would like to include them in the recipe when I import it into the recipe app so I'm hoping that there's a way that I can actually accomplish this.

Recipe Keeper has a notes tab. I typically edit the recipe in two ways. I either edit right in the ingredient list usually putting parentheses to note changes so not to loose the original. If I have a lot of notes, I put SEE NOTES in the ingredient list. If I don’t make a notation to look, I’ll miss it. Then I put all my notes on the note tab. If you are importing from photos you can import as part of the import process.

Yes! It’s simple, you push the share button and it generates a link. I text them.

Yes you can. If your handwriting is nice or it’s typed, simply take a picture and upload it using the photo option. If it’s hard to read you’d have to type it in.

Hello. Thank you for the great video. I am stuck on something though. I have synced my ipad with my desktop app. Now, in my desktop app I have a list of recipes to "import." When I click on the recipe, weird things happen and the recipe does not show up. Help please!

You can add your own notes. Choose edit and then go to the Notes tab and add what you’d like. You can make notes on any tab as well. If I make ingredient changes I add the note there so I don’t miss it.

I usually take a screenshot of them and upload as an image . Some will provide a link. It depends on how the recipe is formatted.

When you have a recipe open in edit mode, go to the tab where you can select category or course. Push the add new button at the bottom of the list. Hope that helps.

If I have a recipe saved in Recipe Keeper, and then want to print the recipe out because it's easier to use while cooking, how do I print?

When the recipe is open there is a print option at the bottom of the screen in the middle. Push the printer icon. Hope that helps.

I’ve got a recipe in my recipe keeper pinned on the top, can’t get it unpinned. Help! I tried selecting the recipe, holding my finger on it and unpin appears….but it is still pinned to the top of the page. It really bugs me seeing it there. Tell me how to make it go away, Please.

Try opening the recipe and in the right hand corner select the three dots and choose unpin. And save that. That worked for me. If it doesn’t work, I’d reach out to customer service. Good luck.
