that is what the NHS needs....Medical professionals (who are independent of Big P) and who are up to date on how to optimise healthy lifestyles without drugs or surgery. Surely, that approach would save the tax payers billions of pounds and create an NHS that is streamlined, ultra-modern and fit for purpose.

The NHS would have plenty of money if the corrupt trusts, quangos, management and agencies disappeared and stopped robbing it. All NHS employees deserve living wages, contracts with benefits and humane working hours.

@@Toodle.Pipp001 really? Somewhere between 70 and 90 million people now live in the UK. How much money do uou think tax payers have to look after a significant percentage of those millions who develop physical and mental illnesses because their lifestyle took them there? It should be streamlined and the food and drink supply overhauled. Many people in the UK need enforced rationing.

No junk food, no processed food, no seed oils, no sugar and no flower plus enough exercise and good sleep you fine and healthy. We all have to radical change our lifestyle.

Most people were not meant to exist meaningful lives other than to consume the garbage the really rich create, so that they infact can live fabulous lives. Furthermore, if people are so easily fooled to eat the garbage it's probably harder to unfool them

After the recent federal ruling, we're also wondering about the effects of long term exposure to fluoride which the govt. started in the 1930s.

I heard that fluoride is good only when applied topically with a toothbrush. It’s worthless if you have drinking water that contains it. It might even be dangerous if your drinking water has it.

Advertising is powerful. I try to minimize sugar and I am making progress but I am nowhere close to where I want to be. I love sugar too much. Just because caramel corn tastes amazing, does not mean that our body likes it. We need to understand what the human body likes. This is where Dr. Dhand becomes a superhero. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us. Knowledge is power.

Someone told me “if it’s bitter, it’s better.” I used to like regular sweet candy bars but now I eat only plain unsweetened chocolate bars. The antioxidants are amazing. 🤩 And even then I don’t binge on them.

I wonder if a missing crucial pillar to healthy lifestyle is responsible daily natural sunlight in our lifes. Perhaps what we are doing staying under modern LED lighting (with no infrared or ultraviolet) in closed spaces, is a main factor contributing to poor health. It is now known that astronauts after months at the space station, return with pre-diabetic and mitochondrial problems. There are experiments showing that a few minutes daily of red and infrared light therapy reduces glucose level spikes in the blood (and more CO2 is expired, and more ATP is made available to our cells, neurons...). It seems that the old incandescent light bulbs, and better the traditional firelight, were better for our health because they emit full light spectrum, more like the natural sun.
