‘Which silhouettes melt your heart’ that’s going to sat with me all day. You are so right about how your clothes make you move, and this affects your mood and bearing. I’m wearing a bohemian style maxi skirt at the moment, which is made of very soft, lightweight fabric. The way it billows when I walk downstairs, makes me feel almost queenly, and I walk a little taller when I wear it. (And at 152 cm, this feels empowering!)

A staircase is an essential accessory when wearing long skirts and dresses in my opinion 💃😆

Agree, our clothes make us move, act, stand in a certain way. That’s why I like clothes that are comfortable but also have some structure. Not so easy to find 😅 Alanna, everything you say and share here has a graceful and genuine elegance. I’m a fan! 🙏

It's so crucial! The way it feels and moves is so important, not just how it looks in a photo 😇 thanks so much for being here Eve 🤗🌻 you are truly lovely

Getting off social media has been a huge factor in my personal style journey! It's been years for me, but obviously I am back on KZbin for style content that deeply resonates ❤

Long form content is my forever love - to make and to watch! Im the same, it has to have substance or resonate visually 💗

Personal style is really interesting, because I think there will always be this tension between our own individual preferences and creativity vs our innate social desire to want to fit in with whatever group we identify with, even if only subconsciously. Hence, the influencing. Thanks for another great video!

Yeah eaxectly this. I spoke about that in my Japan fashion video as well! Obviously the online space has made it easier to connect with groups that we don't even have around us in our everyday lives and only see online. It's so fascinating and so human 😆💃

What a lovely perspective. Like a sigh of relief in the mall of opinions that is the online universe. An unexpected and important advice to pay attention to which silhouettes etc. that makes us happy. So nice!

Thank you 💗🤗 the silhouettes have been so on my mind lately... something about spring and summer here makes me have such rosy tinted glasses and want to be flowing through my life like liquid silk or a petal on the breeze ✨️

Great video!! I love a bit of Pinterest Inspo but it’s important to have our own spin on things or we all end up looking the same xx

Thanks Gemma 🥰 exactly, exactly. I feel like we all know this but it's also an easy trap to fall into as well by accident ✨️

Also, it’s fascinating how different our Instagram experiences sound! Mine is pictures of my friends and their kids… our collective travel adventures… some politics… and gardening content. There’s nothing related to style at all, besides an occasional advertisement. 😂

I love that for you. Your feed definitely changes based off your activity, and I would often be viewing other creators as a yardstick or to get inspo for content etc etc... so it was probably skewed in that way too! I had a whole different account for my gardening, I grow cut flowers from time to time 🥰 love my garden

@@AlannaLightheart What are your favourite varieties of cut flowers?
@AlannaLightheart2 сағат бұрын
@@danielleg1504 snapdragons, orlaya, zinnias of course, strawflowers, dill but I hate the smell, daucus, dahlias, CARNATIONS, cornflowers... never met a cut flower I didn't like. The more, the merrier. But some are easier to grow 😆

I hate it when all the influencers are talking about the exact same product… even if I like the look of the item, on principle, I won’t buy it. The whole point of personal style is to express oneself… not to join a crowd.

Yeah, it helps to just take everything online with a grain of salt 💃 it's not like anyone is forcing us to buy anything 😆 even though it can feel like that at times
