A better and more finished look for putting together old wood is to use furring strips. It actually ends up being around the same price as the stir sticks. But much better quality and you only have to use one on each end. I would recommend attaching it with wood glue and screws

Love these, exactly along the ideas I was hunting for, going to make tomorrow. I have a bunch of wood in my husbands shed, he was complaining about it but I’m down to about 6 fence posts, my son just put up a new fence today and I new the argument was fixing to hit, yep, saved a few boards and the rest went on my daughters land instead of the dump so I still have access to it🤣🤣🤣

On the wooden Fall sign, it’s very nice, love your ideas! As far as the yellow color, it looks nice with the dark wax, but I am NOT a yellow fan. Love the orange w dark wax! Overall the whole project is beautiful for Rustic decor! Also love that you covered the back!

I just need to have my son in law show me how to cut the tops to look like fencing. I do have miter saw. I loved these projects the last diy really got me.

Hello Simone! Welcome!!! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! Pallet wood is awesome. I have a couple out in the shop too. Cutting the tops will be easy, once you figure out the angle.
