Reclaimer Salvaging 101 - Full Guide on Star Citizen best Money Maker - How to make aUEC - 3.22

Originally I intended to release this video on Friday. However, there are so many little tipps and tricks, that I decided to invest a few extra days and go back recording several times.

so a discord buddy and I did a thing, we loaded down the cargo grid of the Reclaimer, all 420 scu. it took us 2 hours 😫 all the 2 scu boxes that needed to be printed and moved took time. then printed out 100 16scu boxes we made 12,120,000 credits. in almost 4 1/2 hours... then we just made 16scu boxes 10 on the main grid and 100 stacked everywhere. we made 10 million and some change, in about 1 1/2. so with two people we will make more per hour just making 16scu boxes then trying to fill the Reclaimer full. as for why only one hundred 16scu boxes there is a ship item limit of 100 entities. excluding things that are on the grid. The game doesn't know the difference between a 16 SCU box off the grid and a bottle of water sitting on the floor. we've learned this while doing the experiment. keeping tally of what we printed. we printed on average about 112 boxes out of three experiments we did and every single time we go to sell there was at most 100 boxes. there was never 101 or 102. there was always 100 boxes of 16 SCU. put down one bottle of water right before we left the ship and during the cell there was only 99 boxes. take This information how you want it. we did. the experiments is a wonderful day 😂

Informative video, I would like to add when choosing a sized box - if you pick 8 sku it takes around 8 minutes to receive all the boxes when fully loaded, where 16 sku takes about 4 1/2 minutes.

Really? I thought it was 8 SCU every 8 seconds or 16 SCU every 16 seconds, so it should be the same. Will double check. Thanks for highlighting.

I timed it after I felt like I was doing more but was taking longer. The time to make the container adds up, it doesn't account for the time it takes to spit it out and release it to you and retract. Another tip that might be helpful for some is make sure your filler station is full before you start making boxes, took me a while to realize that this can cause 1 of the filler stations to stop working.

Cleanup Hammerhead missions are clearly the fastest way to make money right now. However, I somehow doubt these missions will still be available in 3.23. I still remember when a simple box from ArcCorp to New Babbage was 8k, but of course they no longer exits. Overall I prefer the vulture for salvaging - also I got mine in-game. Used all the money I made to get a 600i in-game ;-) Not sure if I have the patience to grind 15 mil for a Reclaimer. And I really like your channel. Very good presentation with focus on facts. Especially the "Best ship for what". SO much better here. Please keep up the good work.

Thanks!! :) Yeah, what worries me a bit, is that the Reclaimer needs an external access or a bigger Elevator. Hope we don't have to squeeze all boxes through the ship and into our personal hangar. The time effort alone will balance things out. 600i... cannot wait for the rework... :)

Hi, thanks :) It hs been reduced, certainly. Also I have not tested Prospecto mining, ROC mining etc. to see it what is the "best". But definitely, you can still make a good amount of aUEC with salvaging. I used my Reclaimer and Vulture to earn some starting money, without any upfront Investment required. Note that the Hammerhead missions are shared on the server and many people are looking for them. So currently the Vulture (while potentially lower earnings) may be the better niche.
