This is my favorite custom map by far! Just really fun to play and well made. One note: does anyone else have hordes spawning in the mines repeatedly?

You know, it would be interesting if the developers added vehicles in which your troops could hop in, like a jeep. You can have 4 soldiers in the jeep and one of them wouldn't be shooting but rather he would be driving. Or, a train that would bring supplies from something like a super colony that survived the mega wave and now is thriving and slowly but steadily rebuilding. Now that I got that thought going, why not put this idea into the campaign the devs are working on to add more story. Although I still don't have this game, which I do want to get, right now I'm mostly comparing it to my all-time favorite RTS, Age of Empires II, and coming up with ideas on how to give it more content.

I just realized that you could've put the commander into a group, like 9, so that way you can still use him to clear things, but if things go sour, you can select him from the group and have him bail instantly.

im finding it hard to get into the custom maps after the campaign im finding i really miss those tech tree upgrades like insulating materials -1 food req for cottages and -2 for stone houses paired with solar energy -20% energy req stuff like that and im running all my colonies into a soft/hard lock on ppl/resources maybe im just bad idk.

I played that map and its one of the best. But always when it display notyfication about infected its already too late and whole army is dead. Its doing it all the time until the end so watch your steps.

I just looked up Grey Goo but personally I'd recommend Supreme Commander because the battles are really large scale. Goo kinda looks like Starcraft where it's more small scale and macro focused.
