Or how about celebrities going through the same problems as a million other people dont act like they're some inspirational story. Since they pulled through thanks to millions of dollars, virtually endless resources, millions of adoring fans, and all around just 100x more than the average person. Much less average drug user. It's difficult no matter who you are, but I have endless more respect for someone pulling themselves out of the gutter than someone who was already on top and went through this with money falling out of their pockets.

“How much heartbreak can you have at 16?!” Stuff like this bothers me so much. Adults truly believe you have nothing to stress over or be sad about because you’re young. Age doesn’t mean a thing when it comes to pain. And it’s not a competition on who’s been through more pain than the next. What I’m going through may be the worst thing IVE ever experienced because it’s ME. When adults say stuff like that or, “you have nothing to be stressed about, I have to pay bi-“ it just makes me so upset and leads me to just keep everything to myself until I have a mental breakdown.
@gabrielam.35983 жыл бұрын
And people dont seem to get that what now can sound shallow to you, for a teen, it's their first time going through that, their mentality is different, they have different mechanisms to deal with things. You cant judge yourself or anyone for something from the past using the mentality you have now.
@victoriarose81583 жыл бұрын
exactly! and pain is relative too! like someone who has been through a lot may take something a lot better than someone who has had a decent life up until something bad happens and they totally breakdown because they have never experienced something like that before. Everyone feels pain differently and it isn’t fair to discredit someone and their experiences because you dealt with it better than they did. I wish adults understood this.

I agree. I think she tried the common force of sobriety which resulted terribly. Addiction involves a lot of downs, but working through them is a better turnout in the end. Truthfully, I feel the pop music industry tried to control her, whereas rock has always been a way to scream out what’s really going on- not to mention the audience is filled with souls that have been the kindest of everyone I’ve met.

it’s crazy how sometimes we as fans think the artist is doing so great until we see an inside of their lives. also the fact we don’t know it but we put pressure on artists and they think they have to be perfect for us. we love you Demi through the ups and downs, that’s being human and we rather see the human you than an impossible thing like the “perfect role model” 💞

It makes me sad that fans loving her so much pushed her to make these “healthy” decisions that she ended up hating and making her miserable. I wouldn’t say genetic, but we are relational creatures and relationships influence us. Father/mother, brother/sister, romantic, etc. It effects how we react to certain people or situations, how we perceive the world. @@7techno77 scientifically speaking, if your relatives have the addiction, you are genetically more predisposed to develop addictions. Usually the result of inherited trauma, and mental illness.

The recovery journey is lifelong and there are going to be relapses, but as long as your heart is beating, there is always hope. Big love!
