This is amazing. I would so have gone for this. A few months ago, I had to pack up my studio and temporarily move back in with my parents. I put my office chair in storage and only brought a wooden bar stool (for its height) with me because it fitted my makeshift desk, a wooden workbench on wheels. Sitting day in and day out with no backrest somehow strengthened my spine, and now it feels so normal I would never go back to sitting on an office chair again. Super cool project though 🤩

bro i laughed so hard. this is awesome. This is exactly something i was looking for. The mesh on the bottom of the chair to reduce the heat in the summer. The arm rests to relieve tension when typing. The different positions you can bend your feet in. And the desk ofcourse. Some fair points that you stated for the arm rests, they might be a bit too short. Ideally i want to use a Keychron Q11 split keyboard in front of the laptop. This is almost perfect !! So i should make the desk a bit better i guess. I love it, thanks for sharing bro ! This really made my day.

What’s the dimensions of the desk? Or perhaps of the original door
@ToolsElectroDIY5 ай бұрын
34" x 13.5" -- but it doesn't matter, you can cut it to any size you want, as long as it is stable.

Why didn't you mount the battery underneath? Looks like there's clearance even when it's sitting on the table.

@@ToolsElectroDIY mount it under and add a cutout window, so the led battery screen is flush with the desk....

look like a desk for the disable. Really, if you are not disable or too weak, you do not need recliner. But for those who do, this is just the thing they need to keep working.

I want to ask, how to build it with an added of display pen tab for digital art that attached to laptop / pc? Is it possible to make the desk longer? Or make another layer of the desk for display pen tab?

I'm lying on the bed at the computer. The keyboard is on the bed, the mouse pad is next to me, two pillows are under my chest, my chin is resting on the pillow. The monitor is on the table next to me. Perfect) I don't get tired.
