Thanks for the talk, I saw something you may want to clarify though... your first bullet point to "Remember" is information about a 'stem cell' but you mean 'germ cell' stem cells do not yield gametes!

Error early on - crossing over takes place between homologous chromosomes that are non-sisters.

Since there is a centromere between the genes, wouldn't that mean they aren't linked? Because the recombination of genes on different arms and different chromosomes is the same.

crossing over occurs between homologous chromosomes, sister chromatids are exact copies of the chromosome and are joint by a centromere.
