Hold on. Correct me if I'm wrong but centiMorgans aren't additive so you can't just add the distances between C and A, and B and A to get the distance between B and C. Thanks for the video, btw.

Hey thanks for this video! it is so clear and easy to understand!! :) i just have one problem... When i'm calculating coc i'm getting 73.31378... This is my calculation (i'm sure i have no errors with the calculation/computation); coc = {10+15/((15.5/1000)(22.0/1000)(1000))} = 73.31378... which is completely wrong as Interference is less than or equal to 1 and greater than or equal to 0. however your getting 0.733 what am i doing wrong/missing? thanks would be great help :)
@nabilakkari24886 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for your reply, i am dividing by 1000, and that gives me 73.31..., I've seen in your video your dividing each of the distances by 100 to get them into M (morgans) e.g. 15.5/100 =0.155 morgans NOT 15.5/1000 which equals 0.0155 and we know as the denominator approches 0 the coc approaches infinity, so i guess that is where i fault. thanks :)
