I saw this Tosca in May 2022. He was outstanding.

We grew up in highschool. Glad to see he stuck with it. Josh discovered his voice in the 10th grade. He chased his dream as I did not know what my path was but to serve my country in time of need when 9/11 happened.

Hey, folks, can't you hear the talking after the aria? This is obviously a rehearsal of some kind. Of course, Guerrero went easy on the high notes and the tempo at the end. Of course, it's played straight through to the Sacristan's solo on the other side. What else would happen in a rehearsal??

I love Guerrero’s singing and his voice, but this has to to be the most anti-climactic Recondita armonia ever.

It’s the coaching. He is already wide open before he has gotten to the climax of the piece. So many people do this now. And he could not sustain the high note? At the end.

​@ajeansmith5478 he definitely could have held it as long as he wished. Perfectly placed . But it's expected even though its not written. Same with the high note in Nessun Dorma. Sing it as written you would get run out or town!

You may not like it, because traditionally the B flat is held long and belted out, but take a look at the score. There is no fermata on that note, nor would the text indicate it.

Agreed. But this is not Mozart! If musicians do exactly what’s written on the page, might as well replace them with AI!
