Aloha Monica, Wow ! You really went all out in purchasing all those Records Store Day (RSD) releases. Really cool that you purchased a few through mail order with a good price. I still have a lot more to listen too that I also purchased on (RSD), My favorite so far : Jerry Garcia (RSD) Exclusive box set I purchased , I also purchased a Grateful Dead Box Set Exclusive ,which I didn't listen to yet. Lots more to listen too. But since my only days off of work are Fridays and Saturdays. Fridays I hit the record shops in the morning after I do my laundry. Purchased a few Hawaiian , Rock, Punk, Jazz, Classic record albums that I posted on Instagram yesterday. I'll be doing a record show in Honolulu on the 17th of June, you would like this Show, people will also be selling Film Cameras too. I Think I'm going to sell a few of my film cameras too. Hi Monie 👋 - Excellent live Cure ! They were so good in May that I am driving 6 hours to Denver to see them again this Tuesday. Robert sounds so smooth still. Glad you picked up The Cranberries ! ☕️

OMG! I can promise you that October 08 WILL DESTROY ME because I'm seeing THIS open for The Ocean, one of my favourite bands, in London AND I CAN'T WAIT! I've been listening to The Ocean since 2006, but they seized a special place in my heart last year because I lost my dad to lung cancer and their music helped me through the worst of the grieving. He was a geography teacher for 40 years and The Ocean has a suite of albums covering the geologic evolution of the Earth: Precambrian, Phanerozoic I, Phanerozoic II, and their new album Holocene. I listened to the first three of these four and their album Pelagial ON REPEAT because I just felt like living in the thoughts about the times my dad shared his wealth of knowledge and his love for Geography with me. I saw The Ocean open for Katatonia (another of my favourite bands) in November in Toronto, bought vinyl copies of Phanerozoic I, Phanerozoic II, Pelagial after their set and didn't only get these signed.... I got the band to write a brief dedication to my dad on them. The night in London is also going to be special because I recently did a quintet of abstract paintings inspired by The Ocean's albums "Aeolian", "Fluxion", "Precambrian" (two paintings called 'Hadean/Archaean' and 'Proterozoic'), and "Pelagial", paintings depicting the subjects of Air, Flow, Earth, Fire, Ice and Water which I plan on giving to the band. Anyway, the following are some other records I've bought since then: 1. Sleep Token - "Take Me Back To Eden". 2. Ghost - "Impera" (I also just pre-ordered a copy of The Collector's Edition Boxed Set dropping in the Fall) 3. Lacuna Coil - "Dark Adrenaline" 4. The Midnight - "Heroes" 5. Katatonia - "Dead End Kings" 6. THE MUSIC OF DRAGON AGE (I saw this announced a couple months ago, but I bought 2 copies of this Boxed Set ("Golden City" and "Black City" pressings) as soon as Pre-Ordering launched. I don't usually buy multiple copies of an album, BUT I HAD BEEN HOPING BIOWARE WOULD PRESS THE MUSIC OF THIS GAME SERIES ON VINYL FOR OVER 10 YEARS. 7. Halo: Combat Evolved Soundtrack.

thank you for sharing such a personal memory with the band Ocean. I have never heard of them. I am listening to them now and they are beautiful mixed with Rock and emotion!! Ill check out the list. So sweet you met them and they signed something special to your dad!!! Music is so healing, so glad you found an album to help you through that rough time.

@@MonieMuse Yeah, The Ocean plays the genre Post-Metal, which effectively sprung from the marriage of Sludge Metal and Progressive Metal. Post-Metal is all about experimenting with dynamics, and especially slowly building to powerful crescendos.

i love the clear vinyl. i have 1 or maybe 2 like that. dick dale is great. another great surf music album you might dig is the soundtrack to The Endless Summer by The Sandals.

The Cure looks cool probably the cranberries just the greatest hits is all is needed? A police album , Queen those are great bands any album before 1989 is worth taking a look? Do you have any records of Kiss their 1970's is worth checking out I have all of their 1970's on cd except the live albums ?

YES greatest hits is all you need from the Cranberries. Im loving all their other songs too. Ohhh I have Queen albums, (theyre in my husbands collection) I should show some of his records that I enjoy.
