I went to high school with Tex Logan's daughter, Laura and dated her for a while. Laura was a stunning beauty with an ebullient personality. The relationship could have lasted longer, it wasn't her fault that it ended but we remained friends. Even though I went to her house many times, I never had the pleasure of meeting Tex. When she told me who her father was and his connection to Bill Monroe, I was fairly nonplussed, I didn't know anything about bluegrass music at that time. In the years following, I became aware of mountain music and the stupidity of my youth! FYI, Jim Messina was originally with the Buffalo Springfield, then POCO, then Loggins & Messina. Messina's first group, Jim Messina & His Jesters, preceded the Springfield.

Absolutely fabulous collection. The only Coryell album I have is “Return” 1979 Vanguard. Can’t think of anyone who might have as many Renaissance albums.If any. I could happily live in that room. The killer line “ there’s always more “, you’re not wrong there. Loved it.
