My favorite record store is Waterloo Records in Austin, TX. Ever since I moved to Austin, Waterloo has been the heart of the city for me. They may not have the cheapest prices, but they have great selection, and I've always found the staff to be really helpful and friendly.

Looking forward to visiting it again next month, first time in 12 years!

@@TooManyRecords Well, since you own a record store and know the industry, you won't be surprised to hear that vinyl now takes up probably about 2/3 of the floorspace, and has spread into the left side of the store. A total flip flop of what the store looked like back when I first entered it in the 90s.

Congrats on the two years, and Fluance is an awesome turntable, a great bang for the buck. I'm here in Winnipeg, and Sunrise records is the one I usually visit here (as far as brick and mortar). Argy's is pretty cool but a bit far. Some of my artists I enjoy I have to order directly from them (not even on the big online sellers).

Another nice video review. This is one of the better collection of vinyls for RSD in awhile. My favorite record store is Spin Me Round in Easton, PA. They are the best family oriented record store family. They are very entertaining in their KZbin channel and definitely in person. Just a great group of people. They are so helpful and friendly and have a great variety of vinyls, cd’s, and everything related to music . Love this store. I love watching their KZbin channel and this channel as well.

Short story: My son was in Scotland (late March) performing in an orchestral concert of international school students and he lost his passport between London and Scotland. Because of this, I had to go rescue him, take the train to London (closest embassy with a passport office that was open), and go through the process of getting an emergency passport. By sheer coincidence, my family was planning on a UK vacation the following week but this left my son and me with nothing to do for a week because I didn’t want to do touristy things without my partner and oldest. So my son (who collects CDs) asked to go to record shops near the hotel because he was looking for a record to help complete a collection of his focusing on The Smile. We found it at Fopp Records and they were having a deal where, if you bought up to two more records, the prices of the individual records went down. Because I’m a nice dad, I bought my first two records (The Living End’s 25th anniversary of their self-titled and Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge) to reduce the amount he would put out on this album. And, because I wanted to make it more special, I got to the register first and bought his first record (a Radiohead album). We went back to the hotel and just… stared at the records. We made Discogs accounts, built want lists, started doing research (we’re both on the spectrum and big researchers). We had a blast. So we started walking to every record shop we could find and MY favorite shop of all times is All Ages Records in London (Camden, specifically). It’s a punk/hardcore shop and the owner is just the coolest guy out there. Anyway, the rest of the family came, we vacationed, yadda yadda yadda. When we came home, I ordered my turntable and my son’s been hanging out in my office listening to the records we picked up in shops, but also checking out the records I picked up on the trip. It’s been a huge bonding experience and, honestly, might be the best decision I’ve made as a dad when it comes to my son. He’s usually really quiet and withdrawn but vinyl - music in general - has given him a space to open up and feel comfortable revealing more and more of himself. It’s super cool. So yeah. His favorite is Fopp and my favorite is All Ages.

Hi, I don't really have a favorite record store but would love visiting your store, it looks real nice. I'm 69 years old and love old rock music. Melanie Safka is my favorite artist. She is selling her past catalog mostly on vinyl so I've decided to save up to get a new stereo to play my new records on. That turntable is one I've been thinking about buying, it gets great reviews. I just ordered the new clear vinyl Dark side of the moon record. I'm excited to listen to Pink Floyd again soon. Records are so cool and the colored vinyl has caused me to want new records. Thanks and nice to meet you.😊

I can't believe it's going to be two years already. That's wild. I think the best record shops in Southern California are Port of Sound and Amoeba Hollywood, but I'm going to go with Sonido del Valle as my favorite record shop. - I almost finish in collecting all of the Nujabes vinyl albums and I just grabbed that alternative version of Beyonce Renaissance album as well as her new album. I became a fan of Franz Ferdinand due to Just Dance ( before the heavy micro transactions😅). - My record store is Dusty Groove here in Chicago. Not only is the crowd there always easy going and cool (even when Taylor Swift was an ambassador) the owner and workers are awesome. I remember RSD Black Friday being super cold (Chicago) & before we started to leave and comeback when the store opened the owner arrived let us in to get warm as well as served hot coffee and cocoa which was a HUGE LIFESAVER. Also they get albums that I find hard to acquire especially Anime type soundtracks (ex: they restock the Samurai Champloo soundtracks 3x at retail price, Fat Jon solo projects)
