Thank you for sharing your record shopping journey, Frederic!! I like your selections. I interviewed G. Love about 10 years ago. Very cool guy!! Very tall!!! Really tall!!!😊 Loverman looks like an interesting artist. Thank you, again!!

@djvinylvertigo Thanks for watching, Scott!! Haven't really followed G.Love after his second or third album and never seen him live unfortunately. Does he still tour? Loverman is my new favorite Belgian artist... should make a video on my country's music scene. Quite a few very talented people here!

It's great that you had so much going on musically! Thanks for sharing your impressions... By the way: I also got the Nightmares on Wax. There really are a lot of gimmicks involved. Very lovingly done...

@vinylund thanks for watching! Warp did a great job with the reissue of 'Smokers Delight' so I really wanted this one too.

Love the shops you visited, the atmosphere and layout. Completely agree that RSD lists contain a lot of unnecessary titles, like who needs a box set of Linda Ronstadt's records when you can (or could) find them all the time in the dollar bins? Well, maybe the newer record collector who wants a complete set? RSD is, as you say, what it is. While there's often many items I have no interest in, there's always something. And it's great for the local shops and the record industry in general. And it's a thing. A thing I enjoy doing. Cheers.

Excellent venue footage and editing throughout the piece; and such quick execution given the recent timing of the event. Live musician sound capture was excellent given all the unexpected interference that can happen on site.

@ricefieldrecords It was quite a lot of work indeed, with all the different footage I had from stores and shows. But I absolutely wanted to post it as soon as possible. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi Fred. Going to check out Ottla Vogel. That sounds as intriguing album. Great video. Cheers. /Paul

Hello Paul @XjunkieNL ! Yes there’s cool stuff happening on the Belgian Jazz front. I need to do a video about that. Ottla’s album is really good and I will definitely check out the new one from De Beren Gieren. If you like Jazz with an African twist, Black Flower is the go-to band.

Hey man, we’re you tempted by the Two Lone Swordsmen ‘Still My World’? I decided not to buy it & now I’m listening to tracks on KZbin, sounds great. Global Communication’s 76:14 is a big favourite of mine

@Harrispilton22 that Two Lone Swordsmen didn't make it to Belgium unfortunately, nor did that 94 East / Prince thing. '76:14' is brilliant, bought it on cd back in the day. Probably works best on that format too but couldn't resist buying the excellent 'Transmissions' vinyl box set a couple of years ago, which including the remix lp for the band Chapterhouse.
