Don’t know about anywhere else but here in Perthshire I think we’ve just had our longest sunniest wind free spell for about a year (5 days)😂. Been beautiful with temperatures roughly 20c. Chilly winter coming up?? The rowan trees seem to think so as a lot of them are heaving with fruit this autumn 👍. Great video as always Mark.

This pattern should've happen now, because we have had an easterly wind for atleast 1.5 weeks now. If we were in winter, this would be a proper beast from the east, if the rest of the continent was cold enough of course.

@@Pablo-xt2xm could possibly be 1990/1991 but im not sure that was a cold long winter compared to 2010 which was a december freeze. what id laugh at is if we somehow miraculously got a repeat of 1962/1963 an extremely unlikely scenario but our weather in winter is not very predictable.

@@YoLo-bb2vc love a frosty winter with snow ! And freezing fog which lifts barely to reveal a white painted landscape before reforming again! When the landscape is white it’s just so much better than grey and wet😩😩
