Great video, glad that you're back! Back in the day I had a pair of those Tandy PZM's, hung them from a beam in an old pub, with a low ceiling and recorded live jazz quartets straight to tape. Your mention of them brought back some good memories. Cheers! Like others I will be following this series.

I have the Lewitt 040 matched pair on drums in a Glyn Johns kind of setup and the DTP 340 Rex on my kick. The 340 I haven't managed to get a great sound with because it's running into an old Behringer mic pre and compressor. But I don't know much about compressors so I have to play around with that because my settings are screwing it up.

Welcome back. Looking forward to this series! Was wonderiing what mics you will use for the toms? Those side aspect Behringers look like they might make good tom mikes?
