Recording and Transcribing Phone Calls - Getting Started with Twilio Voice

In this video, we’ll be making a voicemail that will transcribe a message and send it to us as a text. This will teach us how to record a voice call with Twilio, transcribe it, and then handle the recording as well as the transcription results.

Hi there Tan! You can both record audio and forward calls to another number using Twilio's programmable voice features. You can record incoming or outgoing calls by setting the record attribute to true in your TwiML verb. You can specify record-from-answer or record-from-ringing to start recording at different points of the call lifecycle. The recordings can be stored and accessed via Twilio’s APIs for logging purposes. To forward calls, you can use the verb within your TwiML response to redirect incoming calls to another number. This is useful for routing calls to your Customer Service team or a specific department.
