Good job on getting stuff done. My caregiver came in and told me her daughter (adult daughter) burned her hand and she needed to go home to take her kid to the urgent care and was I ok with that. Like I had a choice. This news while I was finishing a bath to go run errands with her. Lol. I just said ok and was like ok I guess I get a free day and did very little today. I need to do a bunch of projects and just couldn’t drag myself to do them so ended up in bed snuggling with my dog and trying to take a nap which turned into dog poking me awake which she does sometimes and I ended up just zoned out most of the day. Oh well. Another day maybe better. It’s going hotter and hotter for the week and I hate the heat. My ac installation was orig done by my ex and afger wr were separated I had to beg instructions. She wanted to come over and do it for me but I couldn’t handle the relationship drama that went with it so decided I needed to grow up and learn to do it myself. The pain from it is not fun but I did it. Lol. Let’s say it’s a little janky on the installation of the slider window ac but the other side of my house has a portable. I’m dreading the electric bill from running them but it’s too hot not to run them now. I just shut mine off at around 10 pm and am hoping it will stay tolerable overnight. I can’t open the window now so it’s stuffy. I have a fan so will do that and save on more electricity bills until tomorrow. We have predicted for the next four days 88, 91, 92 and 94 so I will be making my place into a meat locker and going broke maybe. Alternative is a lot of showers but I feel sick when I’m hot from medication I take so not an option. I wish I had a pool on my property! I grew up in south Florida near Fort Lauderdale and had a swimming pool in my backyard and we had central ac which didn’t require being a construction worker each summer to install air conditioners. Lol Us women can do a lot when we are forced to and find resources for the rest. I am like you where I don’t want to ask for help unless I need it desperately. Oh and Ps no wood in my eye now hahaha. Lesson learned! Now I need to try to sleep and I’m awake. I would love to see some of your acting work if you have any desire to share a piece of your work. I know nothing about acting industry but have a filmmaker friend in Manhattan who occasionally needs people so will keep you in mind when he’s looking for people. Mostly independent films that he makes or helps with so doubt the money would be great but always good to meet people as you said. Hope you have a good quality sleep after doing all the masks! Lol. I need to have a “queen Helene day of beauty” as we call it and hair dye and go get a haircut. I had layers put in my hair and it’s awful so need to go get my blunt cut done again. As my hair has changed into what I call my old lady hair, it’s gone from really perfect straight dark brown to more waves and I don’t have wavy hair experience. My bestie in Florida is a curly redhead so I will ask her. Not sure if I want to embrace the wavy or just blow dry it straight or flat iron which won’t happen. I just scrape it back into a bun and call it a day. Lol. You looked so different with your acting tape makeup on. That’s why I was curious to see your work and range of characters you play! It’s cool to me. Happy sleeping.

Your wavy hair can be a stress reaction by the way. When I was a teenager, my family was going through some rough times and my mom's har became curly and mine became wavy. And our hair could never even hold a curl from a curling wand - it always went straight in a couple hours. And the amount of hairspray and other hair products didn't matter! I'll share when it's something worth sharing. Right now it's a little bit here and there in film (I have a short I played the lead in in post right now), and theatrical things I took part in were not allowed to be filmed. But I definitely will share when something is out there! And thank you for keeping me in mind for your friend in indie film! We always start with indie until someone breaks through and brings others with them :) I had a professor who was an AD on the majority of Woody Allen's movies. When I asked him about how do I make it in this industry in this country, he said, "Networking, networking. networking." And only recently I realized the true value of his words.

Ps. You totally should do a video speaking about how the stress affected you from different situations and how. It’s interesting to see how some common things happen like sleep loss or oversleeping, nightmares and eating more or less but also how you deal with day to day stuff and what do you do that feels good. I have to tell you about this distress tolerance box idea one of my counselors told me to help with anxiety and or any distressful thing you need some help with. I will type it out and send some examples there are on the internet in an email. Take care and a tap on the Ukrainian heart with prayers for your parents each day. 🇺🇦💛🌻

I think the english term u r thinking of is "Why put off until tomorrow what you could get done today"
