Another tour of my studio/recording setup. I've finally got a dedicated recording PC, so I'm really excited about this setup! Now all that remains is some acoustic panels, because the reverb here is crazy!

Yes in terms of hardware I'm really happy about it!! However the reverb is crazy and it gets very warm. So I'll try and improve it as I go along!! But this should at least be a more cozy recording environment compared to the rented office space I've been recording in for the past two months

@@Polyfjord2 Yes the reverb is quite noticeable in the audio, but that's fixable. Apart from that this new setup looks very cosy and warm and the warm hue from the lighting contributes to this as well.

hot dammmmnnn....this setup is intense. it'd be a dream come true to have everything so streamlined in my workspace some day. This does feel like a lot of blood, sweat and tears went into it tho, to make it this efficient, no?

I had bought a very affordable capture card 2 yrs back to record dslr into pc just to find out that camera wasn’t supported for live view. So 2 yrs later I came really close to having this dream stream setup without even planning to do so, all because of this video!

I'm unable to process this setup in my head but I know this is a unique studio setup and I will learn how to set it up and take it slowly. I would love to know and learn how to optimize the render time in "Blender" cos I've recently built a Windows PC only for super fast rendering in Blender and for gaming with an AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX graphics card. Would you be kind enough to show the setup in Blender for faster rendering with cycle? and because you've mentioned your 4090 Graphics card which is seriously something. Thank You so much for all you are doing to help people out. 🙏🏻

I looked into it and after a lot of research I just really liked the sound of the Neumann TLM 102 better! After having it for a few days now, I think it fits my voice and way of talking really well!

@@Polyfjord2 Well this inspired me to utilise my capture card first time after two years of having purchased. I was reminded that I now have 2 laptops which I didn’t at that time so I used it now to send pc sceen to obs in mac. It was lying idle for 2 yrs and now put to use

Hmm 🤔 nice work around, but eh u could have just used a VIRTUAL KVM like "mouse without borders" which will require less system resources. + Connect both pc with lan cable (*requires a bit of setup) for less latency. + Clipboard and *file sharing* will also work with this setup Avg nerd me, hue hue 🤓 Btw ... I encountered the same issue myself and made a vid about it on this account 🫠but it is in hindi ~i didn't comment this to promote my vid just thought it would be helpful to yo😅, uh ok bye. You are also able to use a headless display emulator plug which goes for about $10 or less and it tricks your computer into thinking it is plugged into a 4k monitor

Really sick setup! Makes a lot of sense. If your Blender machine crashes, you wont be able to control your streaming rig immediately. You'd have to turn on the dedicated streaming monitor (and adjust display?), and use it's mouse and keyboard, correct? But painless nonetheless

You can also try installing the Parsec Virtual Display Adapter on the recording PC which lets parsec support virtual displays (i.e. main monitor off). Not sure if it would support your vertical aspect ratio though.

I’m actually finding myself using parsec to control the vertical display, but then I change the display to show the one connected to the streaming PC instead of the main PC. So parsec sends mouse and keyboard input, but I get the image with less delay and less compression artefacts. Because Eevee makes Parsec lag a bit on the main PC, probably something related to video compression

This was probably a horrible explanation, but the thing is that both the two computers are connected to the vertical display, so I just use the original connection instead of viewing through the parsec window if that makes sense

@@Polyfjord2 for me my dream is to own a sony camera , this camera will help you keep more space and also its easy to use and it's not heavy and cheap compared to your professional A7 camera 😅 which is quite expensive. Here in my country i can buy a house with the same price 😂😂

Do you think the logitech g502 hero is a great mouse for 3D and work stuff ? I have been facing scroll wheel problems for years ! Now I’m using the razer death essential and it’s having this issue

Yes I really like it!! Also I think they’re secretly upgrading it from time to time, because my old one broke, and when I got a new one with the exact same name, it had a much better cable and felt like a much more solid build! But it is a bit heavy, that’s all
