I can indeed confirm that there are people out there "watching" your videos having a visual impairment. For what I am concerned: I am blind and it's great how you explain things. So, keep on talking this way, it gives us all the info we need!

"Okay, I'm not gonna say anything about that." 😀😀 I like the fact that you explain everything verbally. I really dislike when I am searching for something on KZbin (info about a component, tutorial, etc.) and it's only visual with no commentary whatsoever. Maybe they do that to overcome language barriers, but I don't like it. So keep talking!

this is the perfect way to relax after working all day watching Recordology can't go wrong and I do not think you yap too much you explain things very well ,its very enthusiastic sounding and a joy to listen I also agree with the antiskate i prefer the spring the hanging weight can be a pain but ths TT looks more than a beginner TT I like the look it sounds ok but I wish they would have seperate bass and treble controls it sounds fantastic makes me want to hear more of the record u are playing the color is great looking ,the price is not bad I would consider buying this and loved the album you were playing you give it 3 thumbs JRo

You carry on talking. It has never been an issue for me, it shows you care. I had a Teac Turntable in the 70s which cost the equivalent of £700 in todays money. That had a hanging weight anti skate. In use they are good. They are not fragile unless you do strange things to your TT. Set and forget. An obvious use for the line in and line out is to use them to connect a cassette deck or some other type of recorder. A feature not often found on budget equipment. Great video. Keep on Yapping.👍

It looks really cool and gives the impression of high quality and precision, but I feel the "precision" is much to be desired. I'm glad you used other tools such as a tracking force scale to really make sure things are right. The sound is nicely tuned.

What an amazing turntable. When you consider that you are getting a complete vinyl playback system for $269 I thunk it's a real bargain,.I love the VU meters too.

Been to the Hard Rock Cafe in Tokyo, Kyoto, Las Vegas and D.C. EDIT: Almost forgot. also the one in Myrtle Beach. Now you got a decent set of passive speakers for the next time you want to review an amplifier. Overall, I do like how that unit looks. Those VU meters do look cool. The turntable does sound about what I would expect a turntable at that class level would sound. The complete speaker set does seem to sound good, at least as I can tell through my own playback setup. Would've been interesting to listen to that in person. For about $270, seems to be a decent system-in-a-box. Would've loved to have something like this when I was in college for the dorm room.

That tonearm is clearly designed to track on 2 grams or less, basically AT95 would be an ideal for this arm. Had pro-ject with this type of arm, the anti skating system is kinda fiddly and tricky for a beginner and has to be finetuned with ear and headphones. With AT95 choose the anti skating setting closest to 2grams and start from 2,5grams of stylus force go down in very small steps, when the singer is in the middle of stereo image your perfectly set. With this kind of anti skating using a scale is not really optimal. Maybe sounds little hardcore but only want people to get most of their systems.

Great video & contents as always buddy, thanks, Looks and sounds great. If I was putting together a secondary system, I'll defintely consider this. How i the BT?Retro done *right* IMO. Very few systems try the retro thing but this does a swell job of getting the 60s look. NGL, this is tempting lol..

That BT is pretty good for a system in a box!

Talking about gold discs. Beastie Boys smashed open their gold disc for 'Paul's Boutique'. Only to find it was an album of piano covers of Barry Manilow songs.😂

Cool but how many turntables does the world need? When is the market saturated? I can't explain to me how they can sell the same thing over and over again. To whom?
@Recordology14 күн бұрын
I actually wonder this too! Its amazing if you look on Amazon - you can see how many units have sold of any item on there. Many of the top turntables are selling 2k plus per month!

Wouldn't it be cool if a modern day record player was made with the old phonograph bell horn instead of speakers
@Recordology that's very cool , too bad it doesn't play actual records like 45's since they would be a great size.

Really don’t like the anti-skate hanging weight thing on any turntable - it’s way too fragile.
@johnbailey940814 күн бұрын
Has that classic look alright. The only thing missing is a headphone jack 😢
@Zimmy_198110 күн бұрын
The included speaker seem great, tiny headphne speakers won't give u that full impactful sound. You can use the line out torun to a good headphone amp & connect head phones to that, so all in all, not a huge deal ☺
