Serious for a moment, it's nice to see Joe have respect for lines under tension...even if seemingly everyone else around him does not. They're probably one of the few things we see him work with that can sorta just instantly end you if they fail, and there is no time to react once they do, it's just physics at that point. Of all the things to show that little extra bit of caution and genuine safety care for I'd probably pick that too.
@iatsd11 ай бұрын
Their respect for safety standards in general is dismal, but there are a couple - like working around cables under tension - that scare the shite out of me. They cowboy far too many things and it's going to come back to haunt them one day, especially given they are frequently working with delapidated piles of crap. I've seen someone cut in half by a cable snapping and it ain't fvcking pretty.

Your Foden is now happy with its new batteries. I'm also using the ZXL tyres on my 1967 Mercedes LA911 Truck, mine are somewhat smaller at 11.00R20. My Truck was driving too slow, so I dropped out the G32 and replaced it with a ZF S6-36+GV36. Faster on flat but so much better in the hills, not that I have many hills where I'm presently living in Sweden. Love your channel and great humour.

You got it out👍🏼 If you want to slew a vehicle in soft ground and you have drive on the axle that you want to slew (and preferably lockers), winch at an angle like you were and drive forward with the stricken vehicle rather than reverse. Everything slews much easier, requires less force so less likely to pull tyres off. Entertaining video. Berliet made some awesome trucks.

You done a bloody good job getting that out at those angles, I know only too well how much effort is involved in doing such major missions. One little tip that I picked up is sometimes when you just need a tiny bit more grip than you can get a bag of cement dust over the tyres can be the difference between success and failure. It’s worth a try if you can find a bag in a shed or unattended on a site!
