Just had this dome a few days ago. I learned more here than I did from my doc. How soon before I can actually see anything through the graft? I am at day five and still blind as a bat in that eye, except for watching the air bubble float about.

I am scheduled to have a cataract removed and one of these surgeries for the same eye in the near future and what worries me the most is having to look up constantly when I'm not lying down. How do I negotiate the stairs in my home? I can't look up to the ceiling while coming down the stairs which are long, narrow and steep. Even with someone to help me I consider it dangerous. I'll do the best I can but it scares me. Don't want to fall and ruin the surgery or break something.....

I had DMEK SURGERY INDecember 2023. My iris is stuck to the toric lens implant. Does this happen often? Will it unstick on its own or will I need surgery?

Hi Doc I had DMEK on 25 Jan 2022. Still my vision is not clear at all. In the morning there no vision and it improves a little during the day . I am using Hisopt, Vigamox, 5% saline and pred forte. My surgeon claims graft is perfect. How many days or months will it take. Pl guide.

I had the dmek procedure done 15 days ago. I can not see how many fingers I am holding up at arms length. Just really blurry. Should I have clearer vision by now?

Have you not seen your doctor after having the surgery??? I've been told by mine that vision doesn't come back right away and take smonths or up to a year. However for your own peace of mind, call your doctor!!

Hi Issac I had dsaek procedure on 11th October 2022 It's now 13th October Alot of blood in my eye Can't see nothing but brown dr says all good its edema will clear in days Is this true. He says lay on my back and he says the tissue is positioned perfect there is a little fluid on eye he says nothing to worry about so I have no vision not cloudy but muddy I want your advice I see you mentioned if we have questions You happy to answer them

Hello. I have had cataract lens replacement, and this is the best vision I have ever had. I only need reading glasses. What are the odds that I will need to wear glasses after a DMEK surgery?

My cornea swelled and became detached after 9 days. There is also pigment behind the lens and have cloudy vision in the day time and in rooms with fluorescent lights. I see triangles to the left of lights and comet-like trails to the right. Can't drive. My prescription glasses make it worse. One doctor wants me to go to an optometrist.

Because you've had major eye surgery...it's healing and my doctor says that's normal for the first month or so
