So I recently had well yesterday the triple procedure done and the dr I feel was wrong in the manner in which he did mine. He said that the cornea was removed and then when he went to try to remove the cataract the thing popped out and due to, I feel his lack of knowledge, hurried and sowed my cornea in place as he stated he was concerned the rest of my eye would of Oused out if he didn’t???? Please help me as the first day after pre-op I now can see less than prior to the surgery due to him removing my lens and not putting a new one in its place. Hello help me understand if this was his lack of skill that has me going another 6 minimum months b4 the actual lens can be replaced???? Thanks for your help. ….

I had DMEK SURGERY INDecember 2023. My iris is stuck to the toric lens implant. Does this happen often? Will it unstick on its own or will I need surgery?

I think a lot of it has to with all the new cars with extremely bright Led Headlights. The glare from these headlights is blinding to me and I don’t have cataracts or any other eye problems.

The number 3 doctor give treatment for glocoma for 1 months so I'm in treamment now the pressure drops to 15 now but I'm worried after I'm stop steroid that blurry vision will back slowly like before can anyone experience something like me please help I'm so worried

I had this almost 3 weeks ago and I’m still having erosion pain underneath the bandage contact is this normal?? My doctor says the surface is completely healed and doesn’t know why I’m still having pain.

Hi, when ever I get Erm its just in one eye. Lately it has been in my right eye and in some cases both of my eyes. Its so so painful to blink and it reduces my eye sight to 30% vision. When I blink or look around it feels like I have razor blades or something in one area scratching and digging at my eyes. For females i would say its like getting the bristles on a mascaras wand scrapping non stop over my eye balls. My eyes because red as the queen of hearts and tears flood down my face for days or hours on end. I was told this consition I have is called Epiretanal membrane syndrome (but not disease) I was 47 when I was diagnosed with this condition. I have type 2 diabetes insulin dependant, kidney stone disease (over 200 kidney stones between both my kidneys varying in sizes). I also have pancreatitis, i have cystitis in my kidneys and pancrease. Further more I have bone degenerative disorder in my neck and lower back I also have chronic kindey disease and my kidneys have shrunk by 41% in size. I recently rooled my ankle and damaged my knee which now clicks and sound like I am crushing stones. So I have a lot going on. Oh and before I forget I also have chronic pain and chronic fatigue and insomnia and only sleep 1-2 hours at a time bacuse of this. I'm a mess!! When I sleep and if i wake in the middle of the night this erms kicks in...i can not close my eyes and sleep again once this reaction has started there is nothing I can do, the pain is like razor blades...i am currently on 10mg oxnorm, 4x daily for the last 6 years and they will no longer increase my dosage. I use 3 different tyoes of eye drops, I can not take Nsaid's, my eyes swell up from irritation I suspect? I get sleep in the courn3rs of my eyes that os white but is like big pink salt uncrushed sizes and all along my eye lids every 10 to 20 minutes at a time. I take 13 differeent types of medications as well. Are there any known medications that can potentially cause this eye issue to be as bad as ot is currently. I get major anxiety when This eye issue happens just as i do when I get RENAL COLIC or pass a kidney stone (which is 2 to 3 stones a week that I pass). Is there any medications i may need to take to prohibit this from occuring? My eye issues are from trauma. I have been hit countless times in the face and eyes.

I cannot read faces look blurry almost I can't make out faces and they keep just giving me prednisone eyedrops and it's not doing no good. What shall I do?

Hi I had a sever conjunctivitis on the 21 August 2021 and since the I have a diminished reading capacity on the right eye, having to use a + 1 over the counter reading glasses, however my left eye is able to read and I am afraid that the stain in the good eye may impact on this in later years, I went to a specialist in 2022 and received no assistance except to tell me that my tier ducts are blocked and need an artificial tier in the form of optive plus. I need both my eyes as I am an emergency paramedic and sometimes have to have keen vision when siting IV lines on the side of the road or in a moving helicopter. I feel that there is a bit of scaring to the sclera which is impacting my vision like a cataract would.

I have viral conjunctivitis. Started in right eye, spread to left. 16 days since first symptoms. Most symptoms have been resolved. Mild crust in morning. Blurry vision and light sensitivity in right eye. Left eye is fine. Started Loteprednol today, 4 drops per day. Will update this thread with my results.
