Question: When I filed for 2021 I was qualified to get 1400 and even it said 1600 (1400 +200( my own tax)) will sent to me. but after I got received it, it was only 200( my own tax). I never received 1400. And now I am filling for 2022, can I still claim it? How can I do that? Because I waited one year for it to get it and its gonna help me a lot. Thank

So..how are you able to tell the difference between your tax rebate and your actual refund?..so I think I recently got my refund but it's SIGNIFICANTLY less than what I filed for ..but I'm thinking maybe it's yhe tax rebate?? I used tax act to file my taxes, filled it all out how I was supposed to. And according to them I was supposed to be getting a $800 rebate. Filed on Jan 24th... been waiting for the irs to approve my refund. Just now today finally got approved but they said I don't qualify for the $800 extra. The whole thing confuses me. I filled it all out how they said to. Had to pay tax act to file my federal taxes. And now have to wait longer for my return and am getting $800 less than expected. If I really don't qualify then fine. But the fact that I had to pay tax act to file when I could've done it on my own for free. And probably never ran into this problem to begin with really makes me mad. I will never use tax act again. Very upsetting to think im getting an extra $800 just to not get it.

@@TravisSickle it's like the child tax credit letters for couples. Each of us got a letter with half of the amount we received and then you add them together. The only problem is my wife's letter just arrived this week, 2 weeks after I filed. I got my letter in January. Luckily I reported the correct amount.

What makes me think that it’s been flagged is that it went from saying processing to still processing to “we apologize but your refund has been delayed beyond the normal processing time.” I also keep checking my transcripts and it still says that I haven’t even filed - which I guess means they still haven’t processed it. I filed January 31st. I have mail coming in on Monday from them and I’m pretty sure it will give me the details. I’ll post and update once I get it

I received the letter too. I filed through TurboTax and they said I was eligible to claim the credit because I never got the third stimulus. The letter tells you that a third stimulus was issued to you in the amount listed on the letter (either full amount or whatever is still owed if you got some of it)1

When I log into my IRS account, go to tax reports, and click on 2021, It says Economic Impact Payment 3 - $1,400.00. And when I click on 2020, Economic Impact Payment 1 and 2 says $0. Hey Carlos I'm having the same problem but backwards i received the first never the second or third and its cause i moved in between and they took my recovery rebate and auto adjusted my refund in error of course not my fault .. But their system is completely wrong of who received and who didn't they wouldn't have sent my third check because my second one was undeliverable I think they're flagging a lot of people who claimed it hoping to try to get people to give the money back I'm calling on Monday and having my tax preparer look into this shit And if anyone else read this and you got yours taken away and no you didn't receive your stimulus you need to fight too

That's the problem their information is incorrect I literally never received the second one or the third one because I had to move I can prove the second one got sent back undeliverable yet they are trying to act like I received the third one I claimed it on my 2021 taxes and i literally did everything i was supposed to do they auto adjusted the 1400 off my refund incorrectly..And they told me I had 30 days to appeal every number I call is bogus even the number they gave me to call them a Chinese lady answered told me she had to transfer me to another department and hung up on me
