Recovery Tips to Face The New Year

This message filled me with a glimmer of hope for 2025. I am now a widow just 22 months after DD. My spouse had an eight and a half sexual and emotional affair. This followed with 16 months of lying which repelled me back to the initial DD. On a positive side, my spouse decided to participate in Boot Camp followed by EMSO. We finished 4 weeks of the course and then he died from immunotherapy for liver cancer. AR graciously donated Harboring Hope for my continued recovery. I just completed week five and am so grateful for this course. I am learning to walk each day with Jesus and trust in His Grace.

Found out 6 months ago about my husband's 4 year long affair. Can't get the words he told her and the things he said about me out of my head. I can't quit seeing them together, even though they both say they were only physically together a couple of times.

Finally a therapist who doesn't spin the usual bullshit of forgiveness and reconciliation sounds like you're 100% divorce ending the relationship all therapists should focus on hating the unfaithful spouse and empathising with the betrayed spouse
