The Scorpion PM 2 is beautiful. But the REC PM 2 is just to gorgeous and I really think that from all the Spyderco dealers Exclusives the REC PM 2 it’s the Best hands down. River's Edge Cutlery killed it. AND I WANT MORE.! From River's Edge Cutlery.!

I’m not on the spyderco bandwagon much. I have a pm3 & the pm2 tanto... but that rec pm2 is good looking, if only they could get more in.! Lol. Thanks for the review & I must say I admire how you respect other’s opinions & state that it’s “your opinion” in your reviews, not like some of those other guys that it must be fact because it’s THEIR opinion. Keep up the good work!

I have a pm2 in maxamet as well as the standard s30v steel. Once I seen your review on the rec pm2, something about it is just calling my name. This is definitely a game of controlling the patients thats for sure haha I feel like a kid waiting for Xmas and there is still 6 months to go lol. The pm2 was my first knife over $100. I got it back in the day where it was under $130. I’m the guy who tagged you on IG with the seafoam fireside co scales. I think the fireside co scales make it a little thinner. Not positive but it feels way better than the factory scales. I love the feel of the scales so much more now

I don't have PM2, but it's one of Spyderco's I would like to own, the ratio blade/handles is more balanced than the PM3 I think. If someone doubt about your crush on PM2's, after this video, anymore :D Thank you for sharing your passion, it's very communicative and it's a pleasure to see that someone else could be enthusiast on knives as we (me) can be :) Cheers Jake :) (I've receive my iQ and did a video on it, in French, but...) ;)

I'm hopelessly infatuated with this version of the pm2 and there is only one thing wrong and that is, I don't have one 😊 it'd be 'so' sweet. The 10v would be nice as well, coz, no matter how many you have, you can never have enough 😊 as always Jake, great breakdown 👍

I’ve got my name on the next drop (I hope) but would trade that for a PM2 in LC200N. Although the cts204p very corrosion resistant with the pvd coating, but it’s the liners that may rust. And yes Caribbean is also on my list too for a larger carry.

Love the pm2 always in the wrong place and wrong time to get the exclusive pm2s unfortunately trying to find them on the 2nd hand market but seem to get snatched up almost immediately

PVD... Physical vapor deposition... That's a good looking knife l missed it by a few minutes But like U said there will be more! 👍👊 Some people also say PVT physical vapor transport 👊

3 or 4 years ago I got the pm2 in s110v and have considered getting a different steel for awhile. I'm not sure if I got a bad heat treat or if s110v is really just brittle but mine chips on the edge all the time.

I’ve heard of a few people having issues with chippy s110v, I haven’t used it enough to really be able to weigh in on that though.

Both LynchNW and MXG make great aftermarket Spyderco clips

S110V is in the top handful of steels with the highest carbide percent by volume.... keep a coarse edge on vanadium rich steels. Also remove the edge and sharpen again on diamond plates up to about 600 grit

Idk if the have a 20cv option? I know they have the 204p and m390, which is weird that they'd use basically the same steel on different blades. Why not stick with one? I guess some have a preference over the three even tho I thought they were basically all the same? Thoughts?

There have been PM2 variants in each of the three steels. Each have been exclusives from different dealers. I think the dealers just like offering unique steels, even if at the end of the day they are basically just different in name.

I just can’t get into the Spyderco exclusive/sprint run game. The secondary market is so overpriced. I would rather get a second hand CRK or Henderer than spend $300 on a PM2. I have the all black s30v pm2 and it works just fine. With that being said the 204p colors are awesome!

I have never paid more than retail for a Spyderco, if I miss them so be it, but if I can snag one at the drop or for the original price of course I’ll take the enhanced versions haha

I find spyderco’s to mostly be incredibly ugly cause of the hole in the blade. But I need to own one here soon, so I can really experience them. Seem like great knives, similar to Benchmade in some ways.
