Yeah, the colour pallet is so nice that I’m `drooling’ and, if this shipping fiasco was done and dusted I would jump on this straight away. Jake buddy your words are like a dagger through my heart. Spyderco is one of my favorite company's. I have 6 spyderco knives, but I don't have a Paramilitary2 because I've been waiting for this model. I agree with most everything you said, the knife is the perfect steel & design. I have been following this model from day one & have a reminder at REC. I got no email from them 😡🤬😢😪 . Most mornings I'm online surfing knife news, but today I got my check & had errands to run. I had the money but I missed my golden ticket 🎟. Yes I know they are coming but who knows when fomo bad. Sorry for the whining, I'm glad you got yours it suits you.

I hope this is a trend where exclusives aren't just a one-time thing. I've missed out on a few exclusives I wanted, and that's ok. I don't need every knife in the world. It's incredibly nice, though, that REC will offer this one again down the road for those who really wanted one. I think that's a better way. If collectors don't want to wait, that's what the secondary market is for.

I know it’s an older edc queen but one of these days I will add a pm2 to my collection. I have yet to find a compression lock that is perfect for left hand use but the pm2’s wider handle and easier access to the lock mechanism make it tempting. And this looks like a gorgeous version of it!

That is a great looking knife. Always thought the PM2 was ugly till I had one in my hand. I really like the way REC is doing this exclusive. I wish they all did it like that but doubt that will happen. At least 1 dealer that cares about customers and of course it is in the best state.

i feel like how retailers handle the way they sell the sprints/exclusives is what pisses most people off. I would like to see a hard limit of 1 per address, and if someone is caught cheating by ordering more or using a bot, they get squat. it can be almost a crap shoot even if you logged in are ready to go when they sell out in 30 seconds. maybe look at a lottery for half of the drop. lastly i would like to see a 10-15 day notice of when they drop.

Flipping and scalping knives exists as a natural consequence of limited/sprint/exclusive runs. I don't like it. I don't like sprint runs overall but hey, that's the natural consequences of my path in the world so it's a wash. :) I'm glad REC and Spyderco are doing it this way. The blade length is longer than I like for a folder but now I want one of these in part because it looks good and in part because they're not limiting the run and this should be encourage. (I wish I was collecting knives in 2018 because the PM3 in this config would have been perfect.)
