Thank you, Emma, for honoring Annette today. I met her here in LA at a place called the Coconut Grove back in the 60’s. She was very sweet. I loved Annette, wore her hairstyles, similar clothes and took her name as my unofficial middle name. Lol. 💗

Wish I knew how to get the cut and style she had in her later years. It was shorter in front and longer in back.

You needed some mousse for more volume in fullness and height. On the side that you could not see it was over her ear ;not under. In fact, that whole side was straightened, and then, the curling iron or roller/s was flipped and tucked under the bottom of the earlobe. Then after that's done, then the hair spray. The '60's beehive look was always about the hairspray to maintain the look by holding it together.
