Recreating McDonald's at home | Homemade $1 Cheeseburger Recipe

When I tell my kids we have McDonald's at home, I make this. Presently fast food prices are through the roof, so being creative at home can save you money. Here are three things I make at home to curb those fast food cravings.

Homemade MCRIB INGREDIENTS
3 to 4 lbs baby back pork ribs
1/4 cup of BBQ rub
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
4 bolillo bread rolls
pickles
onions
*Slow cook the ribs in high for 3 to 4 hours or until tender.
Have you ever just wanted a classic simple cheeseburger? Well, today, I'm gonna show you my secret for making the best homemade cheeseburger. This recipe yields the perfect, juicy, tender burgers! They are so easy and quick to make. There's nothing fancy or gourmet about these burgers, but they are still so good!
CHEESEBURGER INGREDIENTS
2 lbs 85/15 ground beef
1 envelope of beefy onion soup mix
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tsp cracked black pepper
10 to 12 slices of American cheese
10 to 12 regular hamburger buns
When there's food at home
It's simpler than you imagine to make these!

My son keeps asking for chick-fil-a, so I bought a bag of southern style chicken bites and waffle fries from Sam’s club, and my grocery store sells the chick-fil-a sauces…it’s a close dupe! lol 😂 I agree, fast food prices are getting insane!

Prefect timing for the McRib sandwich. Our local McDonald's never had them when I wanted one. On way home from beach yesterday we stopped at next town over McDonald's. They've already quit selling them. Gonna get ingredients and make my own and never go to McDonald's again...thank u.

Oh I've never cooked bacon that way. Will certainly try it now. Always save my bacon grease! Impressed with your egg flipping skills! All fast food oil s so expensive now! And although i used to eat Mcrin sandwiches u now cpnsider them "mystery meat", lol. Im def gonna make the ribs pike you did too! I cook as much as i can in my air fryer. Years ago, my first job was at Krystal’s/White Castle. we made a full breakfast and they taught us how to flip eggs. I haven’t done that in years but it’s easier than you think if you practice.

Thanks for these ideas. Everything is homemade without all McDonalds preservatives and what not. I can't use the dry onion soup because it's loaded with salt so I can try dry minced onion and beef ox no salt bouillon. Love these.❤

You are not lying when you say McDonalds is expensive these days! My goodness. I love all your videos, but I especially enjoy and appreciate your budget-friendly ones. These McRibs look great and one can even get some curly fries (or regular fries) to go with it for a more complete "fast food" meal and still come out cheaper than going to McDonalds. I am 100% making those cheeseburgers, by the way. They look sooooo good 🤤

I noticed when you're cooking them burgers. You got pretty good heat going under that Pan. If I had that going that hot, i'd have smoke all over. So they all look good because there's a lot of good Cooks Out There.

You can rehydrate dried minced onions, add tomato, ketchup, and pickles to that burger and it will mimic McDonald's classic cheeseburger.
